Even without turning on the heating elements, the blanket begins to warm you up almost immediately after being draped over your body. br>br>I'm glad I bought a blanket before I got sick with Covid- Chills were one of my symptoms after contracting the virus on January 19th. I wrapped myself in a blanket and turned on the heat to the second highest setting. I believe it assisted my body in fighting the virus. br>br> Because of my multiple health issues, I am one of the elderly who is at a very high risk of contracting the virus, but I was able to avoid being admitted to the hospital. br>br>My lung function has decreased, and I'm hoping that it will return to normal with time before I get Covid-.

There is no way to use this. Dirty. This product is a safety hazard, and I just ordered it as a new item this week. What I got was a far cry from that. 1. br>br> It is completely ineffective. There were no lights and there was no heat.
2. The package was filthy when it arrived. This thing appears to have been dragged through someone's yard, with twigs, leaves, and dirt on the underside, which should be white. br>3. When I unpacked it, it smelled like a light perfume, too.
3. There was also no instruction manual included with the product. This demonstrates that it was simply repackaged without regard for the product's or company's integrity, or for customer safety. br>br>This is blatant negligence on the part of the company, which is in violation of numerous health and safety laws. I'll be back right away.

I don't understand why people give this piece of garbage four stars when it doesn't even work - Check out the customer feedback. I bought this to use as a heating blanket, but it only gets warm when folded on itself, and it's barely warm on the highest setting. Sure, it's soft, but so are a lot of other blankets - Let's face it, the whole point is for it to get hot. This is a useless item that I purchased for my cat. br>br>I'd like to point out that either the item was returned or the instructions were completely incorrect. I'm hesitant to use the manual because it contains two spelling errors. It says that when I turn it on, it should be on the lowest setting, but it's on the highest setting every time I turn it on. The connector didn't even need to be plugged in. Kate eventually pleaded with me to take down my review and that she would assist with a return, citing how bad reviews affect her ability to sell a product. I responded by writing Kate to tell her about how her heated blanket had impacted my 18-year-old cat who suffers from arthritis, and how, because the blanket did not hear up well, my cat remained in pain and continued to howl through the night. I should have purchased two products at the time so that I would have a back-up in case one failed. My cat likes the combination because the blanket is soft and comfortable. I'm currently using the blanket with another pet heating pad. I believe the blanket is a good value for the money. It's a little on the small side, but it'll suffice as long as you're not trying to cover your entire body. It can also work well if you use the cacoon method, but if you just try to heat it from one side, it will not get very warm unless you fold it in half. I haven't had any electrical problems in the three months that I've had the blanket. br>br>I changed my rating from one to two stars because it works well for the price, but not as well as I had hoped. I'm also doing it for Kate and her children (if that's the case). But I did tell Kate that she needed to improve her manual and update it because it contained incorrect information about how to use the blanket as well as spelling errors. I'm not removing my original review or giving her five stars because that's what reviews are for: to tell others about your experience with a product; all of the positive reviews are why I bought and trusted this product, which disappointed me. So, to explain why there are so many positive reviews - because Kate is willing to beg and plead her sob story to get reviewers to remove honest reviews for her benefit, but at the expense of consumers who want to use her product. br>br>Email me back if you actually read this Kate.

I've never let this blanket out of my sight! The pocket for my feet is my favorite feature of the blanket. Because my husband is so hot-tempered, he keeps our ceiling fans on all the time, so having this blanket in the house has been a welcome treat: I'm going to buy this blanket again, and I'm going to wear it to work.

I took it out of the package when I first ordered it. OMG. Like a teddy bear, it's so soft! I turned it on, and oh yeah, this/that is how real warmth feels, and it heats up pretty quickly. This blanket has been in my possession for about a month. Yes, it is used almost daily because I work in my basement. this time of year Oh, and there's also a pocket for your feet. It's oddly placed because the cord is on the other side, so when I use the foot pocket, the cord is basically up in my lap, which is strange but not a deal breaker. Also, it cuts off after a while, it is on a timer, not 100% for how long it takes but it is reasonable. I really, really hope it lasts a long time because I adore it!.

The only issue is that the plug is on one side of the bed, so I can't put my feet in the footy slot because I don't have a plug on that side of the bed, so the foot part of the bed is where my chest is, but otherwise it's fantastic.

On the highest setting, it does not get hot. I like how soft it is, and my elderly dogs enjoy the warmth at night.

Actually, I'm sitting on the couch with my Yorkie, and we're both snuggled up watching crime dramas, well, I'm watching, he's sleeping, as I write this review. Because my husband, who is from Alaska, insists on keeping our house FRIGID, I spend most of my time on the couch with a regular blanket. I keep a heating blanket on my bed all year, so I went on the hunt for a throw. They make them? I had no idea they did. I came across this one and was immediately sold when I noticed it had a pocket for your feet. When I'm using a regular blanket, I always wrap it around my feet to keep them warm. All you have to do now is place your feet in the small pocket. There are no gaps or air holes any longer. I start it on high because I don't have much patience, and then turn it down to low once it's warmed up. Because we all have blankets or heaters at or under our desks, I've told all of my coworkers about it. I've already made plans to purchase more as Christmas gifts. A heating blanket throw is a fantastic idea in and of itself, but with the addition of a pocket for your feet, it becomes ideal!! This blanket is my absolute favorite!.
