Because I am 82 years old and frail, almost everything is heavy for me, including this blanket. It provides me with a lot of softness, color, and warmth. I have to sleep on my sofa because all of my mattresses are too hard, putting a lot of strain on my shoulders and hips, so I bought this blanket to try to fit it on my sofa. It's a little longer than I'd like, but finding a warm blanket that's smaller and has all of the amenities I want is difficult. I like the blanket in general. It's also very easy to clean.
I'm so glad I bought it, and you can't go wrong for the price. If you're on the fence about buying it, trust me when I say it's well worth it and you won't be disappointed.
It is packaged nicely. It's quite warm, almost too warm for summer use, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. It's not overly heavy. Despite what some other reviewers have said, this blanket is thick, well-made, and incredibly soft (as seen in the attached photos), as long as it is never washed. As a result of the overpowering chemical odor, I'm only giving it two stars. I ordered four of these blankets, one for each member of my family, but the odor is so strong that I won't be able to let my children use theirs. I've already washed the blankets twice according to the manufacturer's instructions, but as some other reviewers have mentioned, washing doesn't get rid of the odor. Last night, I slept under one of the blankets and eventually had to change out of my nightgown because the chemical odor had transferred to my clothing. I'm at a loss as to how to proceed. Another point to consider: One of the blankets came out of the dryer with a thick layer of difficult-to-remove lint. a few places where you can touch If I hadn't already removed the tags (my mistake), I would have returned the blankets. I'm now stuck with four stinky blankets and one that has lost its softness, which is a complete embarrassment.

My almost two-year-old son also adores this blanket, pointing to it and requesting to use it on a regular basis. It's thick, and I haven't had any shedding issues with it. Despite some negative reviews about fuzzy's, shedding, and pulls, etc. , there are some new things to look forward to. To top it off, I washed it with other clothes - There isn't even lint in the dryer screen, much less anywhere else - It was also delivered in a vacuum-sealed bag, which was fantastic! It's as light as a feather, but it's also very warm! Different temperatures can be achieved by using the various sides. Also, I'd like to point out that the prices for each color are different, which is strange and something I don't like - It isn't even close to being equitable - I chose and desired the deep purple one, which happened to be the one on sale for $14 and change - BUT - It's still not cool, and I would have given it a lower rating if it weren't for the price, but the blanket is sssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss.
It's softer than I expected, and the color didn't fade after washing. My husband enjoyed playing video games with it. Everyone will enjoy this blanket. I suggested it to my friends as a possible Christmas present.
