We have been using these blankets in our B&B for the past ten years. We like how long they last, but there isn't much extra fabric on the sides, which is our only complaint. It doesn't appear to be as it appears in the photographs. If you and your partner can't agree on a blanket size, go up a size. A king bed, for example, is 76 inches wide, but this king blanket is only 90 inches wide, leaving only 7 inches on each side.

This blanket's aesthetics aren't exaggerated in any way. The blanket is lovely, and the muted champagne gold color is stunning, but the stitching is horrendous. The blanket is falling apart in three places, and the cotton fill is leaking out. It has yet to be washed. I was extremely dissatisfied with the product's quality.

The temperature is in the 75F range! I've had this blanket for a little over a week and have loved it since I first opened it. Because I sleep hot, the most important thing for me was to find a lightweight blanket that would allow me to breathe. When the windows are closed in a 73F house at night, my main comforter, a "Natural Comfort" all-season fill, is far too hot and unbreathable. I found another blanket on Pacific Down that is very similar but costs three times as much, so I decided to give this one a try before investing in a higher-quality blanket in the future. br>br>Because I'm obsessed with temperature, here's a sample of how I've used the blanket so far:
- Outside temperature is 75 degrees Fahrenheit, so the window is closed. ~71- With a small fan on, it's 74 degrees in the house.
- Outside, it's cooler (nice) (50F), so I've opened the window. House No. 71 74, turn on the air conditioner once more. Here are a few of my ideas: br>br>
PROS:
- It - comfy! It's reasonably soft, and it's a pleasant place to sleep.
- Even with the window closed, it maintains a comfortable temperature for me, who is very sensitive to sleeping temperatures.
- It takes in some air. Since we bought this, I haven't woken up in the middle of the night feeling hot at all, whereas before I couldn't get a good night's sleep for weeks because I was too hot.
- The sateen edges have a wonderful feel to them.
- In temperatures ranging from the low 50s to the mid 70s, it has been comfortable to sleep with (without any other sheets/etc)! CONS: br>br>
- It's not a big deal, but it's not quite as white as the photo suggests. I chose ivory, and instead of being a nice grayish off-white, it turned out to be a nice grayish off-white. It's a slightly dingy white color with a much stronger yellow hue and a matte rather than shiny finish. But it was only $30, so it's not a big deal. It's not as pretty as it appears in the photo, but it's a good blanket to try out before investing in a higher-quality, more expensive version.

- When the temperature dropped below 50 degrees the other night, I awoke to get a drink and realized I was a little too cold. It wasn't cold enough to wake me up, but a lightweight blanket may not be able to keep one warm enough in temperatures below 40 degrees Fahrenheit. I'll bring out my old Natural Comfort all-seasons fill comforter once the temperatures consistently drop below 50 degrees at night.

- The blanket's main part (not the sateen edges) isn't as soft and luxurious as it appears. It's above average, but when you touch it, you can feel the fabric's subtle roughness. It's not noticeable when it's on your body or when you're sleeping with it, but running your fingers over it confirms that it is a $30 blanket. br>br>I'll use this until it gets too cold, when winter arrives in full force, at which point I'll switch back to the other comforter. I'd recommend this blanket to anyone who sleeps hot and wants something that would normally cost $60 at Bed Bath and Beyond for half the price; I'm thinking about purchasing a full-size version. size for my boyfriend, who has taken a shine to it and has attempted to steal it on several occasions! br>I'd give it a 5/5 because it exceeded my expectations and surprised me with how well it worked for such a low price!.

To begin with, this blanket appeals to me. The pink color isn't too loud, the full/queen size is spacious, and it's light. br>I was born and raised in the state of Wisconsin. In the winter, it gets extremely cold, so layering is essential for staying warm both in and out of bed. I'm a hot sleeper who can't stand being pressed down in bed by heavy blankets. This isn't a blanket that will keep you warm in the cold, and it isn't even advertised as such. What it's supposed to do, and what it does perfectly, is keep me warm when the temperature is around 70°F to maybe 40°F. Temperatures are mild here, but those in the southern United States are likely to be cold. br>Because of its light weight, it's my go-to layering blanket. I have a set of blankets on hand to add or remove from my bed as needed as we enter our true winter season. I'm going to need them big time. It's probably around 20 degrees outside right now, sunny, with calm winds. I'm keeping warm by layering this blanket over a thick fleece thermal blanket. I'll put on another layer if the wind gets stronger, depending on the direction. A true mid-weight goose down comforter is my final layer when it gets really cold. Because down comforters are more expensive and require more care, this will be used to cover the down comforter to protect it from dust and from me becoming overheated on occasion. br>My only gripe is that the fabric is labeled as microfiber. I was expecting a touchable surface similar to microfiber sheets. This is not the case. It isn't as cold as a shiny polyester surface, but it isn't as soft as a peach. That said, I don't know how else to describe it, so blame it on me.
Given the choice, I would buy it 100% of the time and absolutely recommend it to everyone. br>I have no ties to this seller and have never had any dealings with him. This is a genuine review from someone who purchased it from Amazon at full price.

This is ideal for my full-time job. Because there must be little to no fabric on the sides of the Murphy bed in order for it to close properly, it is available in a variety of sizes. My house guests have said that they sleep cozy warm under it because I use it over a warm blanket. It's a big hit with my cat, who is currently snoozing on it.

I was looking for a nice blanket to layer under our comforter in the winter to keep us warm. I had my eye on this PB blanket, but the $129 price tag for a king-sized blanket was too much for me. I ended up purchasing one on sale for $30 from Target, which was plush and emitted a LOT of lint - I'm talking about how I'd wake up every day with lint all over my pajamas, which I'd then find all over my other clothes. When I came across this blanket, I was about to lose hope. We washed it before using it, and there was some fraying on one side, but otherwise, it's been great and exactly what I needed at a reasonable price! The content appeals to me - It's nice and smooth, and the edges have a silky feel to them. It's cool to the touch in the evenings, which I like because I don't like being too hot in the evenings. It doesn't produce lint, which is a big plus! My purchase went well. I also don't believe it will be too cumbersome to use all year.
