It hasn't pilled despite being washed several times. This is a lovely blanket.
Made in China is written on the label. It's a high-quality blanket that can be used throughout the year. 100% cotton, tight woven yet allowing good air circulation It's very easy to operate.
This blanket has a tight weave and is of excellent quality. Despite the fact that I've only had it for a short time (washed maybe three or four times), I don't think it'll stretch out of shape.
Gray Mist was ordered, but the actual color is neither blue nor gray. It has the color of seafoam. Blue and gray bedding are two of my favorite color combinations. As a result, I'll be returning the Gray Mist that I ordered.

I spent a lot of time looking for a USA made item before purchasing this blanket, and I'm willing to pay a little more for it. Only because it said "AMERICA'S MOST TRUSTED NAME" and the description didn't say "imported," as other blankets did, did I find this brand. I was certain this blank was not imported because it cost a little more than others with the word "imported" on the label. I was extremely disappointed when I received the blanket a few days ago and saw that it was "Made in China" on the package. Your brand is deceptive, and if it's made in China, why didn't you tell us before we bought it? I felt so cheated that I had no desire to check out the blanket quality.
I bought this blanket to replace one that was nearly identical in every way except size, brand, and color. The old blanket was simply too small for our queen bed. So I ordered a king size in the hopes of having enough fabric to cover the bed and have a generous drop on both sides. Everything I'm about to say will be typical of cotton. I had to stop the dryer five times to empty the lint filter after washing the blanket before putting it on the bed. I'm sure it'll get better with time, but I don't want a house fire! The hems of the blanket, which are thicker, did not dry when the body of the blanket did. When I laid the blanket on the bed, I discovered that the king-size blanket only has a 15-inch drop on each side of the queen-size bed. This "king size" blanket would not even come close to covering the top of a king-size bed! I know it's cotton, and I'm sure it shrank after being washed and dried (I should have put it on the bed before washing it for comparison purposes, but I didn't). When cutting the fabric for the blanket, don't forget to account for shrinkage! I'm going to hold on to it. I like this style of blanket, and while any cotton blanket will shrink, I believe manufacturers should account for shrinkage.

I love it! I bought this brand because all of the online reviews said it was the least 'linty' on the first wash, and it did not disappoint. On a first wash, the dryer filter had normal lint, possibly even less than I expected. It's also a good fit. We have a king-size bed with a mattress that is 16 inches tall (not including the box spring). There was plenty of length to tuck under at the foot of the bed, as well as 14" of overhang on both sides of the bed. This blanket has a nice, tight weave when it comes to snagging, but it is still woven. Like my tapestry coverlet, I expect many years of good use from this product with a little care (taking my rings off before making the bed, making sure I don't have any torn fingernails to snag on the blanket, etc. ).
Great blanket that didn't shrink after being washed in warm water and dried on medium. It turned out to be quite attractive. The longer length is fantastic. Since JCP discontinued their Big Blankets years ago, this is the first cotton blanket that hangs to the bottom of my pillow top mattress. News flash: I bought the Gray Mist. The color is sage. The true color of it can be seen in the last photo. I like how it looks with my bedding, so I'll order another in true gray as soon as it becomes available.
Whether it's made in China or the United States, you can rest assured that it'll be of high quality. This blanket isn't on the market. I looked for blankets that were made in the United States. Vellux claims to be America's most trusted blanket brand, despite the fact that it is manufactured in China. What a let-down! When will businesses recognize the importance of building in the United States? You can't tell me that cotton isn't grown in the United States.
