This is something I usually delegate to my wife, who goes to a big box store and brings home designer brand towels. Don't get me wrong, they're lovely, but they're also quite pricey; this was more of an experiment to see if I could find towels of comparable quality for a lower price. I started by looking for towels with the best reviews and then read a lot of them. I selected Hammam, took a deep breath, and then pressed the Buy button. They arrived quickly (thank you, Prime) and appeared to be of good quality to my untrained eye. I was excited to try them out the next day, so I tossed them in the washer as directed on the package. WOW, they're fantastic! They are extremely soft and absorbent, and they perform in the same manner as our designer towels. WOW, WOW, WOW, WOW, WOW, WOW, WOW, WOW, WOW, WOW, WOW, WOW, WOW, WOW, WOW So now, in addition to purchasing LED light bulbs, batteries, and other high-tech items on Amazon, I am also responsible for purchasing towels. WOW.
I decided to order a set of Hamman Linen towels after reading several customer reviews. The packaging was extremely professional, in my opinion. There were also stickers on the towels indicating that they conduct quality checks prior to shipping their products. I washed and dried them as quickly as I could. One of the towels frayed a little at the side seam, and another had a patch of discoloration, as mentioned by other customers. I contacted Hamman and asked for the two towels to be replaced. They immediately refund my entire order in the hopes that I will place another order for the entire set. I decided to reorder them because, aside from those flaws, the towels are of good quality. They shed very little, are soft to the touch, absorb well, and dry quickly, according to my tests. Although the towels appear to be of good quality, the craftsmanship is poor. I removed them from the package and washed and dried them. I examined them, but it wasn't until I folded them that I realized how badly they were made. They haven't been cut or sewn together in any way. I measured a washcloth and found it to be just under 11" on one side, 11" on the other. 3" on one side and 12" on the other. In the middle, there is a two-inch gap. One of the hand towels was 13" on one end and 13" on the other, according to my measurements. On the other hand, 2" on one side and 15" on the other. In the middle, number five. I'm unable to return them because they have been washed. I ordered two sets because all of the items are similar. This was the most dreadful Amazon purchase I've ever made. I've bought towels from Walmart before and they've always lined up and been cut correctly. I've never seen anything so poorly made. DISAPPOINTING IN THE MAXIMUM EXTENT.
They aren't particularly plush or of good quality. In fact, they are moderately soft and shed a lot, despite their nice size and the fact that they do not bleed. I'm not going to buy anything else.
These towels do not impress me in the least. To begin with, they are much thinner than I had anticipated, but that didn't bother me. It was a good deal. I purchased two sets but only washed one because the other is being returned. I washed them once, dried them on medium, and discovered hundreds of tiny pills all over the towels and washcloth when I removed them. As a result, I made the decision to rewash them. The situation is identical. I'd never use these towels, so I can't comment on how absorbent or soft they are.
I followed the washing instructions to the letter. Water that is not too hot. These towels are lightweight and quick to dry. The material is extremely gentle. I have a high-end set of towels, and one of them (Egyptian cotton) began to rip almost immediately. These have not been altered in any way. They dry quickly and don't seem to accumulate any more lint than any other towel I've owned. They're a lot lighter than the Egyptian towel, and they probably don't absorb as well, but they work great and are less than half the price. I have the sea salt color, and I love it. The color is similar to a pale peach. This product has exceeded my expectations, and I will most likely purchase more when the time comes.
I'm blown away! These towels are incredibly gentle on the skin. They're incredibly absorbent after that! It appears to be of good quality as well. I've already washed the hand towel, and it's still in good shape! The cost of a complete Hammam towel set (2 large bath towels, 2 hand towels, and 2 washcloths) is reasonable. This purchase has exceeded my expectations!.
They appeared to be of good quality when they arrived, with the right amount of softness (but not too much) and absorbency. Only when I washed them did I have a moment of concern. My lint holder had never been so clogged with towel remnants. With the first two washes, this is exactly what happened. You can expect some with the first wash, but there are still a lot of remnants in the lint holder after two washes. When you go to put on lotion, I've also felt a little lint. The towels are still soft and absorb a lot of liquid. They don't appear to be drastically different yet, but the verdict is still out.
