Hello, Jennifer from the Gorilla Grip customer service department. We recommend that you take your mat out of the tub/shower after each use so that it can air dry properly. You can simply lie over the tub's edge, a towel bar in your shower, or the shower door. I hope you found this information to be beneficial.
It feels great and isn't at all abrasive. No slipping as it remains attached to the tub's bottom. It also allows kids' toys to be quickly picked up at the end of the bath by rolling it all the way to the center. This mat is appropriate for both children and the elderly. It's relaxing to just sit on while taking long baths.
We purchased this in December 2019 and are looking to purchase another, but not due to mold. It's ripped in a few places and has yellowed quite a bit because we use it every day for the kids' baths. Mold, however, was not present. We usually take it out of the bathtub after each bath, roll it up, and place it on the bath's edge, which seems to work fine in terms of mold prevention. I'm going to place another order.

For the past month, I've been using this bath mat, and it's been one of the worst for mold growth. So I followed the directions and washed it on cold, but not only did the mold not come off, but it also left a slimy residue all over my washing machine, as well as the same gross residue on the mat itself, making it slippery in the shower. I tried scrubbing this mat with a scrub brush to get the mildew/mold off that way, but it didn't work. I am extremely dissatisfied with this purchase, and the worst part is that I am unable to contact the seller about it. So much for that warranty they claim to provide; I suppose the catch is contacting them. As a result, the purpose of this post is that they may perceive it in that light.
To begin with, I am not a filthy person, and after each shower, I would rise from the mat. I also wash the mat once a week instead of every day as the instructions suggest. It was impossible to do so every day. BUT, take a look at how filthy this is; perhaps it's because of the clear color I chose? Suction is excellent, and the device is safe, but it is unsightly.
I thought washing it would help, so I did. I then attempted to bathe my son in it, believing that it was a safe plastic mat based on the description. Bad idea! For two days, my baby was covered in bleach. It made me nervous because I had no idea what toxic chemicals were causing the stench. I'm not sure how I feel about this mat. This was purchased for the baths of my grandson. (Baby is 22 months old at the time of this writing. ) ) The mat remains in its original position. Every time he came to visit, however, the baby developed a severe rash. The rash is on his buttocks and the backs of his legs - It's possible that something in the Gorilla mat is causing the rash (contact dermatitis) on the parts of his body that come into contact with it while he's bathing.
It's precisely what I needed. It's a death trap in my shower/tub combo. The unit appears to be made of a particularly slick polymer. Those peel-and-stick grippers were my first choice. Over time, these loosen, leaving a lot of exposed space. They're also a pain to put on and take off. I also put one of those solid rubber mats to the test. It was fine, but I didn't care for the appearance. br>On Amazon, I recently discovered the Gorilla Grip mat. I liked how clear it was in the shower, as it was unobtrusive. It also has drainage holes, which I like. This, I believe, helps to keep the mat cleaner and fresher in between cleanings. But, most importantly, this little one can grasp! The suction cups have a tremendous amount of force behind them. 324 of them, to be exact! In the tub, this mat won't slide around. When it comes time to clean, it will, however, easily pull up. To get the best results, you must press on each suction cup. I find that anchoring the mat with my hands on a few of them and then walking on the rest is the most efficient way to do so. Another advantage is that liquid soap, shampoo, and conditioners do not leave a slick residue on the mat's surface. This product is excellent for people of all ages and stages of grace.
Despite regular bleachings with household bleach, mine has turned yellow after more than two years. It's also developed cracks in a few of the holes, so I came here today to just buy a new one, but I figured people might be interested in knowing what they're getting. Regardless of what is said about anti-Semitism in this article, bacillus - It doesn't grow mold and slime like any other bathmat, in my opinion. As a result, you should turn it over and wash it with household bleach on a regular basis. After that, rinse and dry it before turning it over and standing on it again. I tried putting it in the washer, but it didn't fit well, and parts didn't get as clean as they should have, so hand washing was the best option.

Moreover, despite the fact that my tub has textured stripes, the suction cups are so plentiful and secure that it adheres well immediately after laying it down on a wet tub and pressing slightly, and I am completely secure. It appears that my search for bath tub mats has come to an end. br>br>I saw another review that mentioned the smell at first. Yes, there is a slight plasticky odor when you first open the package, but this quickly fades.

- But my favorite feature is that you can wash it in the washing machine, which I have done with my shower curtains for years. This mat looks brand new when it's finished. It should be washed in cold water and then air dried.
