Many reviewers looked for a towel warmer to make their towels toasty after they get out of the shower while they were shopping. It's just that our bathroom lacks sufficient natural heat and ventilation, and we wanted to have a warming rack that helps dry our towels. This warmer does a very good job in that regard. Now we are no longer forced to grab a dry towel from the rack in order to find it still damp and clammy. As the item was on sale, I got it for a low price. If you're comfortable with measuring and putting in dry wall anchors, the install was pretty painless, though the instructions might have been a little more detailed (particularly when it came to understanding how the mechanism for attaching the unit to the wall works). There are a lot of potential risks involved with this, and I'm not going into detail because you could kill yourself/burn your house down. If you are familiar with some basic electronics, you should not have a problem figuring it out) and upgrade the switch to a smart one which is a great help. You should turn it on at least an hour before you want to use the towels because it takes a while for the unit to get warm. I just leave it on all winter since my house has electric heat already, and since the winter is when I am most in need of warm towels anyway, I don't feel like I am wasting any energy. Apart from being warm, one great benefit of use of your towels is how dry they become after drying. It has definitely been more noticeable when I have forgotten/ignored to turn it on that the towels do not absorb as much. Generally, I would recommend the project if you are willing to spend the money and enjoy home improvement projects, but don't expect the towels to feel like they have just come out of the dryer. As well as bragging about having a heated towel rack, I really do enjoy it. Having it in my house certainly makes it seem a lot better-off than it really.

I accepted this product with a small tear in the packaging UPS pointed out, but it did not appear to be damaged or dented. As soon as we installed the "stainless steel" product, we discovered it to be rusted and stained with rust spots. It was not possible to clean stainless steel with stainless steel cleaner. Some of the bars felt rough from the rust. I thought about making a claim through UPS, but then I remembered it is designed to have wet towels hanging on it all the time. Yes, that makes sense. There should never be any rust! It is a very good product. It is the only one we found that has timer built into the product and it is extremely reasonable in price. As described, the dimensions and colour are exactly as shown in the picture. My shower gets warm and toasty so I can dry up afterward by turning my heater up a few minutes before I take a shower. When I hang the towel again, the towel is dry again and the warmer turns off by itself in 2 hours. The amounts I consume are the same as before however, my electric bill has not gone up.

I found this towel warmer to be excellent. It would be great if it could have a schedule feature as well as a timer so that it would automatically come on as soon as the sun comes up. In any case, it gets hot quickly, so we can count on it to shut off after a while.

Having been installed for less than two months, it lasted less than a year. We tend not to dry towels properly in the winter season, especially if we keep a timer for 2 hours daily. Those were its maximum lifespan, it lasted for less than two months and it doesn't turn on anymore. I am disappointed.
