Nothing special is done with it. It claims not to stick to soap, but soap does stick to it. As much soap scum accumulates on this pad as it would on a normal soap dish, despite the fact that it leaves more soap on the bar. This was a dumb purchase. A $10 price tag for plastic rectangles that cost likely less than a penny to produce. That's some hustle you guys have going on. I'm not going to fall for your trick.
