As long as the mirror is flat against the mirror, there will be no stick out of the plug. On the back of the mirror, there is a small opening where the cable can pass through. This will avoid it sticking out too much.

It was packaged well too. The lights worked in some places, but not in all. At the bottom of the screen, only half of the lights The lights on the right side did not work as well. In addition to that, I noticed some rusting or scratches on the corners and edges of the mirror. I have not been offered a replacement by the seller. This means that it has to be returned to the seller and I will need to buy from someone else. There was a defect in the pros.
