When I kneel, the padding is thick and medium hard, and I don't feel the wood at all. Both of my knees have been operated on, and I no longer experience pain when kneeling on the tabletop.
I'm not sure what they're used for, but each end has two holes. I suppose they could be used for head or foot extensions.
Yes.
It has a lot of padding and is very comfortable.

"What great quality and materials," I kept thinking the entire time I was putting this together (less than 30 minutes). This is my "PT" room. I'm a retired military man with a few disabilities that have become more difficult as I've gotten older. The rule of the day is to stretch before any activity. My chiropractor and physical therapist are pleased that I can do therapy at home because of the 28" width and 24" (lowest height).
This table was purchased so that I could practice osteopathic manipulation at home (I'm a second-year medical student) - I have no doubt that it will serve me well for the rest of my career. I would recommend that, whatever your reason for buying a table like this is, if you are willing to pay a little more for a quality product and don't need it to be portable, you order this one. It's the difference between spending $200 on ikea compressed wood that will only last a few months versus spending twice as much on a pure wooden piece from Gothic Cabinet Craft that will last a lifetime because it's strong, extremely well crafted, and can easily support hundreds of pounds and the motions of two people doing exercises or treatments without swaying, creaking, or anything else. I debated between the various less expensive, portable massage tables available here, but my goal isn't to have a patient lie still on the table while I treat them; instead, I want them to move around while I treat them. OMM requires a lot of movement, and I imagine it would be a nightmare if I didn't have a steady table. This isn't just a massage table; it's also a medical exam and treatment table. The padding is soft and supportive. The whole thing is made out of rock. My boyfriend - a few weeks ago - a massive purchase - He was laying on it, waiting for me to prepare so we could practice some techniques, and he fell asleep inadvertently. For four hours, he didn't move. As a baby, I slept soundly. That is how sturdy and comfortable it is! br>br>I was in awe of the beautiful and meticulous woodwork that went into it for the entire time we were building it. The set- It took about an hour for me and a partner to set up - Because the instructions are written in a small font, pay attention to where the washers go. That was a step that had to be redone. It's worth noting that the table top is pre-assembled and comes in a single 72-foot piece. The remainder is broken down into smaller chunks. I took smaller items out of the box outside and had assistance bringing the top in. You should definitely do so. To assemble, you'll need an extra pair of hands. br>br>I set it up on an uneven basement floor, but to my surprise, simply raising the adjustable legs one hole on one end of the table leveled it out completely. So, if you're having trouble with that in your home, don't be concerned - there's a solution. It is possible to modify the table to fit it. br>br>I also like that the company has a phone number on a large sticker under the table that you can call directly if you have any concerns or questions. That's extremely useful information - Because it's made in the United States, you can actually talk to a live person on the phone, which is always nice. br>br>I only have one minor reservation. I like how comfortable the padding is, but I'm not sure how comfortable the lining is. I think I'll have to get a cover for it, but I'd be disappointed if it ripped, which it appears to have the potential to do. If this concern is unfounded, I will update this in a few months; however, you can avoid this by simply purchasing a cover, which is a good idea in any case. The material also has a slight packaging odor, which I was able to eliminate by wiping it down thoroughly with a gentle soap spray. br>br>Highly recommended!.
Since getting on the floor has become more difficult, I've been using this table to do my rehab exercises; I love the table and the comfort it provides, allowing me to complete my exercises at home. It's also a beautiful table, which is an added bonus in my office. br>However, the BEST benefit is that I can now have online sessions with my therapist (since I can no longer attend my therapy sessions due to Covid) - All of my exercises are possible because of the table. br>br>Recent changes: br>br> The table is still in excellent condition, and my husband is now using it as well.
I needed two exam tables for my new medical practice, and I wanted something simple that could be adjusted and wasn't too expensive compared to the "medical" exam tables that I couldn't get on Amazon. This table is ideal, and shipping was free thanks to Amazon Prime. I had the option of choosing a color that would complement our office's decor. I put it together myself (I recommend getting a power screwdriver with a hex head attachment rather than using the wrench that comes with it) and it was simple. It took me thirty minutes to complete. I'm very happy. When my part-time practice closes in four years, I intend to use this table as a stretching table in my exercise area. I keep it at a low height so that my elderly and short patients can easily sit on it.
For the past year and a half, this table has served as my physical therapy table. It's extremely long-lasting and fantastic in general. It's ideal, especially for the price, and it's a lovely table for my clinic. It is something that both my patients and I enjoy.
This table is fantastic. Once it's put together, you'll need two people to flip it over. We grabbed our own tool because the one provided was difficult to use. While I wish there was a shelf beneath it for my physical therapy supplies, I am very comfortable doing my exercises.
It's where I practice my physical therapy exercises. It's very stable and well-made.
Sturdy, adjustable, and comfortable. It's what I use for my physical therapy exercises at home.
