I am a Reiki Master/Teacher who hosts weekly Reiki Circles in which a group of people perform Reiki on a single person on a massage table. Many of my students, whether elderly or injured, require Reiki treatment. They adore these stools because they allow them to sit while performing Reiki. Then, when we're done, we can easily fold them up and store them. They're fantastic.
For a few more inches of height, I add an additional cushion. You may find the height to be adequate, but I prefer my hips to be higher than my knees, with less flexion in my hips and an easier perch for a neutral pelvis and spine. br>br>Having said that, the stool is the best product I've encountered in my 20 years. It's well-made and well-designed, and it fits neatly into the large pocket of my table bag. It's not heavy. br>br>Now that I'm better prepared, I'm practicing cranial-sacral therapy and other types of bodywork.
