With its hard protective shell, it is extremely durable. The case opens fully and the zipper goes around three sides, making it easy to insert and remove the EKG unit. When I'm out and about, I use the case's carabiner clip to attach it to my purse. So far, it's held up admirably to the rigors of my tossing it around. I believe you don't have to take the EKG unit out of the case if you don't want to, though I have always done so when taking a reading. This was purchased to keep my Kardia 6L safe. I had a small plastic case that I could carry in my pocket, but I wanted something more substantial for going to the gym. A good product at a reasonable price that comes with a free pill carrier.

For my Kardia A-, this is a very nice little case. The monitor is a fake. The monitor is held in place by an elastic strap, which is well cushioned. The zipper performs admirably. They were able to ship it in the same box as the monitor, which was very convenient. At first, I'm quite pleased.
