In spite of this, the product appears to be fresh and white on the inside. I received the bottle just now. This bottle also has a 2018 expiration date (like my last one). My first observation was that the capsules in the bottle I received were a yellowish color, rather than the typical white I had come to expect from this product. As soon as I opened the package, I was immediately concerned that there was something wrong with the product. Oxidized and discolored product does not appeal to me. In an attempt to see if anyone else had experienced the same problem, I came back here to check reviews. Reviews) referred to discoloration as an a comment, it was suggested to crack open the capsule to see if the powder itself is white. It is. So, as another reviewer pointed out, I think Solaray has changed its capsules to make them yellow in appearance. However, the inside of the product appears to be perfectly safe for consumption. I have attached a photo in case anyone else is concerned, and I have also attached a description of what the difference looks like.

5 stars because the product itself is excellent. The buffered time-released C version I used was Superbio Buffered. If you need the buffering especially, that one is excellent as well. In fact, I have given this review for the vitamin pills I received and ordered from Amazon, not a different vitamin C. Why is Amazon sending me a different vitamin C? It was packaged in a box that did not mention Rose Hips (I received a bottle without mention of Rose Hips). If I go to my order history page, I see the C with Rose Hips, what the heck is going on? As a result, I was replaced with another type after they ran out of the original type. A picture of my bottle would be appreciated if I could upload it. Vitamins like this one have a strong taste or tang upon placing in the mouth, but the flavor rapidly disappears. It's way better to take capsules than a rock hard pressed tablet.
