I'm still trying to figure out what's going on because I really like these vitamins and I gave MTHFR to my daughter. The following is the most recent email response from a company representative (which only added to my confusion): "While folic acid and methylfolate are used as the base catalyst for B9 in New Chapter Perfect Prenatal Multivitamin, this is not the form found in the final product; instead, New Chapter's probiotic fermentation process creates a whole-food B9 supplement." B9-complexed food is a type of B9 that is found in many foods folate.
They have a herbaceous odor, are an inch long, and are lightly coated.
No, it doesn't have any DHA in it.
It's best to take them in small doses throughout the day so that your body can absorb them. If you take too much at once, you'll urinate out the majority of it because your body can only absorb so much at once.

These prenatals appealed to me at first, until a blood test revealed that my vitamin levels were alarmingly high! My doctor was running tests to see if I had any autoimmune conditions. That was the extent of her concern. My levels are slowly decreasing since I stopped taking the vitamins, which is a good thing, but I will never take these pills again. It was also terrifying because I had been suffering from severe stomach cramps and bloating for months, which disappeared as soon as I stopped taking the prenatals. Make certain that you have done your homework! This company was purchased by Monsanto, and they now use synthetic vitamins, which are extremely harmful to your health and the health of your unborn child. Thankfully, I never became pregnant while taking these supplements. I can't even imagine how it would have affected a child.
For my MTHFR-positive wife, this was a great way to get the job done. As a result, she is unable to process folic acid and requires it in its natural form. We recently discovered that they switched from folate to folic acid between the time we signed up for this item and today. The corporation should have notified us.
I did a lot of research on prenatal vitamins and decided on New Chapter; however, this product is not the same as the one shown in the product description/image; it is an OLDER VERSION of the product, and some of the differences are very important to me and I'm sure to other moms-to-be. For example, the advertised amount of iron is 27mcg, but the bottle I received only contains 18mcg. The same is true for Vitamin A, which is advertised as 1300IU but actually contains 5000IU in the package that arrived. This vendor's product has disappointed me.
In comparison to all the prescription prenatals given to me by my OB/GYN, these prenatals are completely natural and did not make me gag or vomit. However, I've discovered that I need to take these first thing in the morning, on an empty stomach, or else I get indigestion and the urge to puke. This wasn't always the case, as I took the same pills during my first trimester but with a lower count.
I've been taking them since 8 months ago, when I found out I was pregnant. After doing some research, I discovered that these contain the highest quality ingredients and a wide range of vitamins and minerals. I think the smell and taste are fine; simply wash them away! I'm going to use these for all future pregnancies and will recommend them to my pregnant friends. This item has made me very happy!.
My wife's two most recent pregnancies took place in Indonesia. This time, I did my homework and discovered that this product is far superior. And evidence that she was nauseous and tired all the time for a week, and now she's complaining about wanting to eat everything in sight and worrying about gaining too much weight. lol. She's only eight weeks pregnant, but she's overjoyed with how she's feeling right now! This is an excellent product. Thank you very much! br>br>As a side note, she's feeling so good that she's not sure she's expecting. lol.
Throughout my first pregnancy and the first half of my second, I had no idea. Oops. Otherwise, they do not make me nauseous (as some others have) and have no taste. They're fairly inoffensive because you can take one at a time throughout the day.
a pill that is easy to swallow - I don't think it has a taste, and I believe it helps with morning sickness.
