My body will receive all of the nutrients it requires by taking prenatal vitamins before attempting to have a successful pregnancy. I had two miscarriages and was determined to get my body in shape before we tried again in late October of next year. God, on the other hand, had a different agenda in mind. Ok. So, when I was pregnant for the first time in 2016, I used the NewChapter Prenatal (the bottle was updated with an image of a woman holding a baby bumb). The bottle I received with my current pregnancy appeared to be out of date, but I couldn't compare the ingredients because it had been so long. So I thought to myself, "eh, whatever. " I'm at a loss for words. All day, I've been feeling sluggish and nauseated. My doctor believes my thyroid is underactive, so I'm having tests done. I'm in such a bad way right now. My blood pressure is extremely high, which I have never experienced before!! I'm convinced it's these vitamins now that I've returned to this site and read the reviews. I've stopped taking my vitamin and will look into switching to a different brand; it's a shame because I loved these vitamins during my first pregnancy-- This time, however- It's a completely different story now! Never had any constipation (always took magnesium probiotic/Vitamin d, as well) and my hemoglobin levels (iron) were always great (even on a poor diet). I'm pretty sure they gave me a little extra energy with my first pregnancy (and I stayed extremely'regular'). However, since I have a two-year-old, you could give me an IV of red bull and I wouldn't notice the difference, so don't expect magic or unicorns. Apart from that, these prenatal vitamins are the best multivitamins for the money. There are no artificial ingredients in the food. Just remember to take a PROBIOTIC, MAGNESIUM supplement. VITAMIN D3 and you're good to go!.
