The reason you didn't tare your scale is that you sell by weight, Dr. Adorable, but why did you do that? There are 9 grams in this bottle, which is about 2/3 ounce or 3 ounces.

What is the volume of an ounce? Although I ordered a 4 ounce container, I think the product is fine

It is only partially full and is in a container. Based on what I understand, Perhaps it was weight rather than volume, so I might have received 4 oz of sodium lactate 60% by weight, but not by My problem is only that the product information was not particular enough to make me able to know for sure before ordering. There is an expiration date on the seal label over the cap, so I think it is fine. In case you are trying to find a specific amount of sodium lactate, I would suggest you note this. If you're unsure whether or not you're ordering enough, perhaps make sure you check the amount in volume and weight.

During shipment, half of the product leaked out

A quarter of the bottle arrived half full. A broken seal allowed the liquid to flow all over the interior of the bag.

Although it states on the label that it weighs 144g, the first thing I did was weigh it, and the The 22G. Based on this information, I am likely to return the item and find another supplier.

It was very helpful when it came to soap making. Since the bars are harder you will be able to use them for a longer time. The first bottle of supplements I bought almost ran out. I will be restocking soon.

I will order more next time since this was just what I wanted for my homemade soaps. It does not go very far even with 1% per pound of oils by weight, and this 4oz volume does not go very far at all.
