Questions & Answers

I was wondering if this magnesium glycinate product has any magnesium oxide buried within it, as so many others seem to have?

There didn't used to be a listing of Magnesium Oxide in Supplement Facts, but the last time I bought it, the In her call to Solaray, the company told my wife that there was more Glycinate than Oxide in the mixture, but she was unable to figure out how much magnesium was present as Oxide. The front label still refers to "Magnesium Glycinate 400 mg", thus misleading the consumer.

Can you tell me how big the capsules are?

There are a lot of them. Unfortunately, I do not have any left to give actual measurements. Among other things, keep in mind that each capsule provides 100 mg of magnesium, meaning you must take four It is possible to confuse consumers with misleading advertising.

The quality of citrate or glycinate is better at absorbing than the other?

In both cases. A Glycinate pill to take at bedtime. To take SolRay four times per day, you need 400mg of capsules, I take five. In addition to that, I also take Citrate Natural Vitality CALM, which is better than any other brand.

Are you talking about a different magnesium formula or capsule than their other magnesium products? My stomach feels upset after eating this and not after eating the previous order. ?

Thank you for shopping on Amazon! I appreciate you taking the time to ask a question about the Magnesium Glycinate in Solaray. We can help you deal with your anxiety and sleep issues
5/5

There is a lot of information about how magnesium supplements can help anxiety and insomnia. I have read the book "The Magnesium Miracle" as well. I was skeptical and saw magnesium as overly simplistic a solution, but I was at the end of my tether with conventional medicine and therapy. In the past, I've taken Zoloft for anxiety, but I found that it worsened my sleep issues, and also triggered a sensation of being disconnected, which only encouraged more anxiety. I highly recommend Xanax, but it was by no means a solution to the long-term problems I had Solution for the long term. It was a gamble I was willing to take, so I decided to try magnesium. Natural Made Magnesium 400 mg Softgels is the first supplement I tried. There was diarrhea and stomach pain as a result of these bacteria. We're off to a good start. My next attempt was Nature's Bounty with the same result. The second strike has been delivered. It turns out that both are magnesium oxide, one of the most popular laxatives. My next step was to try Country Life Chelated Magnesium Caps 300 mg, which helped me feel better. Not quite as bad, but still not very good. The third strike of the day. My research on magnesium led me to go back to see if there was an answer to this. There are several recommendations for Solaray Magnesium Glycinate on the internet. You don't have to run to the bathroom or suffer from stomach pains anymore. In the case of magnesium, it's definitely more subtle than any prescribed medicine There is a drug that combats anxiety, but it's also made from the amino acid It works well for me to take theanine (from Thorne Research). Taking these two together during the day calms me down and makes me feel less tense, anxious, and uneasy. Sleeping is much better for me now The act of reducing anxiety itself reduces anxiety. The two together have made a large difference in how well I sleep and how calm I am However, unlike some other reviewers, I actually prefer the 100 mg capsules over the 50 mg By doing this, I can dose how I wish in increments of 100 mg rather than have to take one 400 mg dose at a time. In terms of magnesium, theanine and magnesium together are enough to help restore a much more normal life for the first time in a long time. I take 400 mg magnesium every morning and every night at the present time, but I did step it up slowly. The approach I took was to go low and slow because I'm sensitive to supplements and medications. Take 200-250 milligrams of calcium a day A total of 400 mg of Theanine a day should be taken in the morning and at For those suffering from anxiety and sleep issues while taking Magnesium Glycinate, I recommend the amino acid Theanine in combination with Solaray Magnesium Glycinate, especially for those with sensitive stomachs or IBS.

Take advantage of this if you're having trouble sleeping
5/5

For many years, I have taken 3 mg of melatonin at night to help me sleep. My age 53 has made it harder to handle things on my own. My first attempt was to use magnesium citrate, but I discovered it has a laxative effect, so I chose magnesium glycinate after collecting information online that said it was the most absorbed form of magnesium. In any case, I take 100 mg five days a week at 5 p. m. and nine p. m. , and I take melatonin every night. Now that I'm in bed at 10 pm, I'm having a better night's sleep. My sleep is sound now, as opposed to before when I felt anxious when I woke up. The natural remedy you have worked for you is so nice. Please edit
The magnesium ratio was increased to 200 mg at bedtime and the 5 HTP was continued at 100 mg. This was very effective for me. I have now stopped melatonin as well. I can sleep better without melatonin, and I am better off without it. The information I have provided can hopefully help some people sleep better. This is an updated version of the October 2018 edition. As I now reach my 56th year of age, I have returned to magnesium citrate for its laxative qualities. It is still a favorite with my son to buy this magnesium glycinate. My goal is to improve his immune system, and 100mg at night is part of my plan (along with zinc, vitamin C, and homemade yogurt for years old, and after having severe cough and congestion for over a year (and rounds of antibiotics that failed to ease his symptoms), he asked me, "Whatcha got?" I asked him, "Cough? Fever?" I have gotten positive feedback all year, so he has agreed to take my advice and will continue to do so. In addition, he takes elderberry liquid as needed for additional nasal congestion relief.

PACKAGING THAT LEADS TO ADVERSE CONSEQUENCES! PACKAGING THAT LEADS TO ADVERSE CONSEQUENCES! The reason for the one-star rating is that the company clearly misleads its customers when it claims that 120, 400 mg capsules are included on the front of the bottle when actually there are none
3/5

On the image, it is shown that it takes four capsules to get 400 MG. The bottle contained an error that I was unaware of until I received it. In other words, this is not one capsule for a period of 120 days, but rather one daily dosage. There are 28 capsules per bottle, which is enough to get you the recommended daily dosage in 30 days. The brand I bought is not something I would buy.
