The California Prop 65 warning is on everything. It could be the label's ink or the glue that secures it to the bag. Seriously, that warning is on almost every product sold in California, and it's on the front door of almost every building.
Organic Turmeric root was packaged in foil bags with the herbs I received. I'm not sure if they were placed in a plastic bag or a box by Amazon after that. They were probably in a bag, I believe. I'm sorry, but I don't know anything else.

The seller "HealthyUs" claims that the item description says "organic," but it is not certified organic. Starwest Botanicals 205400- is the item number for this item. UPC 7-51, 51, 51, 51, 51, 51, 51, 51 67963- 02265- 3, 1 pound of "Turmeric Root Powder, Crucuma Longa," India origin. I contacted Starwest directly, and they informed me that the product is not organically certified. However, because Starwest sells high-quality goods, this item is probably safe to use. However, I don't agree with the seller HealthyUs claiming the product is organic when it isn't.
Purchase is not recommended. Mentanil Yellow, a synthetic color widely used in India, is found in this product. It's extremely dangerous because it causes damage to the stomach, kidneys, and liver linings. It also has a negative impact on the ovaries and testes, putting reproductive organs in jeopardy. Dizziness, weakness, and food poisoning have all been reported as side effects of consuming this color. I don't believe this is an organic product or that it has been thoroughly tested for purity.

I could tell this product was of good quality when I first purchased it. It had an earthy odor and a coarse texture, as well as a dark yellow color. However, when I ordered it again, it was obviously of lower quality and not organic. It had no odor, was bright yellow in color, had a powdery consistency, and stuck to the container and spoon. I'm extremely dissatisfied, and this is the first time I've ever written a review. This seller should not be purchased from.

It turned out fantastically! I wanted to find a turmeric that wasn't raw so I wouldn't have to stand over the pot as long. It only took me 10 minutes to prepare. The color is vibrant, and the aroma is pleasant. This was one of a few brands suggested by our turmeric group, and it appears to be working well so far.
I began by taking turmeric capsules, but I've discovered that making a paste with all of the necessary ingredients for maximum absorption and digestion is a far more effective method of taking the powder/root! When I travel, I still use the capsules, but when I'm at home, I prefer the powder/root. br>For a full pound, this is a fantastic deal. I've bought a few different turmeric powders in the past, and this one is by far the best in terms of quality. Some of the others I've received were coarser and grainier. This one is very finely ground and dissolves easily when I'm making my paste; however, because turmeric is fat soluble, it requires an oil or some type of fat to digest it effectively.
