My knee is about to be replaced, so I am in a lot of pain. I have tried other turmeric products, and am awaiting a full knee replacement. Tablets of this type are semi-transparent If you handle them, they become hard pressed, meaning a small amount of yellow comes off. Which is the good reason for this? Therefore, the product does not contain any coating, and will thus be more easily absorbed by the system. Taking 2 Tylenol gives me almost no pain and I can walk almost normally. The effect is not applied afterward. 450 mg, and with my Tylenot and vitamin, I am taking two at a time without any stomach discomfort. I'm also old, so I can take two. It is my recommendation that anyone who wishes to take Turmeric for pain should buy this product.

It has been about a year since I started taking the Tumeric Whole Body supplements and especially before my menstruation period to prevent any inflammation issues. It appears that my pain flares up less often. Additionally, there are no pains in my arm from an old sprain because I use it to prevent them. I am not able to say 100% that the product is truly effective. You could do some sort of test with a doctor if you really want to find out. Some say it is just a placebo or merely a placebo effect. There is some controversy involving the efficacy of turmeric and whether or not it is an effective health product. Despite this, turmeric root is actually an herb that has been used throughout history by many countries and for centuries. On the basis of just that stat alone, I think I can trust it to be a fairly effective exercise. I noticed that when I don't use it regularly, I feel sluggish and my arm begins to hurt. I have been purchasing Mega Foods Turmeric from Amazon for as long as I need it because you have to take two pills a day and it's a more economical choice. Right now, Amazon offers the best price, so I will continue to purchase this product as long as I need it. As far as I can tell from my previous experience with Mega Foods, they use whole foods as opposed to components extracted from them. If you ate one cup of carrots, ginger, broccoli, and so forth every day, you would be sated. By looking at the amount alone, it is likely you couldn't do it. In short, supplements are the only other way to keep you healthy and ensure that you get whole foods into your system.

While some products that contained turmeric was better for osteoarthritis relief, the ones that contained 15 mg of black pepper each caused terrible stomach pains. I avoid severe stomach aches by only taking MegaFoods Turmeric on an empty stomach, which must be possible according to the label. Turmeric is only 3 mg black pepper per serving, so I don't experience severe stomach pains unless I take the tablets on an empty stomach. It does not know I have diverticulitis and black pepper on an empty stomach leads to a severe stomach ache for hours. So, I have learned my lesson the hard way and will continue to use Mega Foods turmeric, but I am about to try the powder form once per day.
