Turmeric contains curcumin, which is its active ingredient. It only has 3% curcumin in ground turmeric flour used as a seasoning and consequently does not have any health benefits. Typically, Turmeric supplements can be found in 95 percent curcumin this is stated clearly on the Generally, 3% is the amount of curcumin that is stated when the percentage is not stated. As far as the curcumin content is concerned, there is no information provided. The website provides the opportunity to email them for the curcumin concentration. I sent them an email four days ago but have not heard back yet. There is a Qunol Turmeric cap available at Costco that contains 95% curcuminoids and uses Bioperine to aid in I believe this is a totally different product from what's on sale now. Neither their website nor their product page mentions it being sold at Costco, so it appears to be marketed exclusively to Costco. After the percentage of curcuminoids on the bottle and on their website is clearly stated, I will not be purchasing this product again.
It is stated on the front and the listing that 1500 mg is contained in the capsule. The brand I purchased is 600 mg instead of the brand I normally use that comes in only 600 mg so I could take fewer caps to get my minimum 2400 mgs my doctor recommends. It would have been wise to read reviews first. Each capsule is 500 mg. It's more likely to occur if more caps are taken. In large letters on the front of the bottle are the letters that refer to the recommended dose, but it is not made explicitly clear no where on the listing nor on the front of the bottle. That does not sit well with me.
There is no point to this product! Despite the fact that it is advertised as 1500 mg extra strength pills, it actually contains only 500 mg per tablet, just like each of the other bottles available at Walmart for If you take three, you will only be taking 1500 mg. As for any bottle of 500 mg tablets, I guess that's also true. Again, just another company that wishes to steal from us!.
The label says 1500mg and in fact it is just I definitely feel that this seller is engaging in false advertising and Amazon should not permit it! After I got my shipment, I found out that I had been duped and found out it was a scam.
