In my opinion, it is not safe to consume comfrey, so I wouldn't advise doing so

Every time I get a rash, I used to buy this product it seems to clear them up completely. It isn't the same anymore and I do not find it effective to treat my skin problems. The manufacturer apparently removed the propolis from the ingredients. In order to test this claim, I bought another salve that was promoted as containing propolis, and it cleared up my skin problem as anticipated. There may be something in this salve that works for some, but it doesn't work for me, and I probably won't buy it again.
The stuff is awesome, very soothing and makes you feel better.
