The flavor of the ocean and fish is overwhelming

The mango flavor and the yogurt and almond milk in the bowl made it fun to add blue food dye. We made a big mistake here, as the whole thing tasted like fish. This was something I had to toss because I could not stand it anymore. There was nothing else I could taste in this spirulina. That's what I thought it was going to be.

Kids can be hard to convince to eat healthy, but they seem to enjoy a smoothie with kale, berries, and protein, and that happens to be blue. I also made a vegetable dip with this spirulina, and my daughter added it to the avocado. As soon as it arrived, it was.

I was surprised by how small the package was If I had looked at the photos and reviews, I would have noticed the small size (smaller than my hand). It's been reviewed as having no taste in some reviews. There is no truth in that. Green spirulina, which isn't as tasty as I'm used to, is my normal. I have to admit, when I took the rest off the spoon which was stuck with a tiny bit of water, it definitely has a peculiar taste, but I suppose it does not detect when blending into other items. As I use it as a supplement, this bottle is useless if that's what you intend to use it for.

With this purchase, I made a cookie monster milkshake inspired by a family I follow on Instagram who named their treat "cookie monster nice cream", my little picky eater enjoyed this yumminess so much and I was also happy that he was also getting nutrients from it. It is a wonderful product and has been approved by children. The flavor is the only flavor added to the product. This is such a big win for this mom of a food picky kid.
