These have been in my possession for about 15 years. All of the bottles I've bought in the last month from various places have a foul rancid odor. I've never smelled this strange odor from this product before; it smells like rotten greens to me. "Just leave the bottle open to let them air out," Solgar advised when I contacted them. They didn't seem too concerned about the fact that the product appeared to be spoiled! I've noticed that the lot numbers on the last two bottles I've bought start with 491560. The health food store where I bought them returned the entire shipment because they were all from the same batch and smelled rancid. I'm hoping this bad order doesn't show up in the next batch. I hope this information is useful to anyone who is unsure if the smell they are experiencing is normal.

BAD sign! I purchased this oregano oil because of the high praise it has received and because it was a less expensive alternative. What an egregious oversight! I'm going to buy the same brand I always do. The Wild Oregano Oil from California Natural is far superior. It has 70% carvacrol and more than 3 xs the oregano oil per pill per pill per pill per pill per pill per pill per pill per pill per pill.

I'm ordering for the third time. I recently spent days in hospital waiting rooms while being exposed to a person who had a three-week chronic cough/bronchitis illness. I started taking oregano and Emergen-C several times a day. The immune system of C. I was never ill. I've also been exposed to multiple people with various types of colds at work or with small children, and I start taking oregano tablets at the first sign of a stuffy nose, and I don't get sick. br>I'm going to swear by this stuff for the rest of my life. br>br>I'm hoping that long-term use of the tablets will help cure the toenails, but I haven't seen much progress so far. However, I've read that it takes 6 months of consistent use, so I'll keep taking them every day.
