There was a slight burp of oregano, but it wasn't unpleasant. After an hour or two, it vanishes completely. Breathing problems have never been an issue for me. Once you get used to it, it becomes quite natural and refreshing. With the capsule in your mouth, drink plenty of water. At least 8 ounces, with a squeeze of lemon on top.

We usually apply the oil to the tongue with a dropper. However, we occasionally take these gel tabs if we've been around someone with a stomach virus or suspect we've eaten something bad, or simply as a supplement to the under-the-tongue dose. This is what we refer to as "nature's flu shot. " When we put the oil under our tongue, we can actually feel it working. As if we're starting to get a sore throat. We put a few drops under our tongue a few times and it just kills whatever was trying to start, and we're in our mid-fifties and seem to be in better health than the younger people at work.
