1. My blood glucose levels have begun to fall, which is great because I am diabetic and was looking for something to help me control it so that I could eventually stop taking the meds that upset my stomach. When I take it in the mornings, I feel better for the majority of the day; it seems to help my appetite, which has been very low recently (I am a cancer patient), and it makes my lungs feel more open (I am also an asthma and COPD patient). Because this stuff is spicy, I only gave it one star for flavor and ease of swallowing. When taken as directed and diluted in a glass of juice or water, it tastes like swallowing hot lava. It also takes your breath away the first couple of times you take it, until your body gets used to it. You can also put a drop on your finger and rub it against the outside of your nose to relieve nasal congestion. Overall, I'd give this a ten out of ten, but be aware that it's quite spicy.
I usually buy in capsules from a reputable brand, but I wanted something I could apply topically without having to puncture a capsule or deal with the mess. I have serious doubts that this product contains the stated percentage of active ingredient. The packet of ground oregano that came with it did not impress me either. Sorry, but I'm not able to "taste the Greek sunshine," as one reviewer put it. Purchase a different brand; this oregano oil capsule does not clear my skin as well as NOW Foods oregano oil capsules. If you're looking for a high-quality product, you've come to the right place Buy something else if you want good oregano oil for medical purposes. If you want a weak-looking product that isn't particularly aromatic or effective, this is the one to get.
I removed the cap, and wow! Potent! I bought this along with tea tree oil to help my husband's toe nail fungus. I had previously purchased another brand that was nowhere near as potent as this one. You can tell it's working because there's a big difference. It has a strong aroma and you can tell it's the real deal.
