I am very happy with the Dandelion Root powder I ordered from BulkSupplements. As opposed to taking a lot of pills, I would rather take supplements directly. A warm glass of water easily dissolves the powder, which is easy to drink. No solids are present in the powder, so it is of good quality. It is impossible for me to live without the Dandelion Root powder, as my liver improves every day. Over the past couple of days I've been taking about a half teaspoon in the morning and evening. Whether or not it helps with water retention I do not know, but it definitely has a mild laxative effect on me (which I appreciate). Afterwards, you can make a nice instant tea out of this powder in warm water. While its wooden taste may be unpleasant to some, I do not find it to be bitter. The studies I have read about dandelion use their own extract, and they don't give a better price than this. My experience with this product indicates I plan to prolong its use for quite a while. If I observe an effect on water retention in the future, or if I notice any other added benefits, I will update this.
