I ordered three bottles for my husband, as he will need to take it for the rest of his life following his heart surgery. One of the three had a shattered glass bottle when they arrived. When the plastic wrapped tightly around the bottle was removed, the amber glass came crashing down, making it difficult to detect. It is no longer possible to consume it because it contains numerous pieces of glass, as well as the medicine, which adheres to the gel and is difficult to remove. When I tried to remove it, I got abrasions on my fingers. I thought it could still be taken orally, but I decided it was too dangerous to do so. I should have bought locally because a bottle is not cheap, and I ended up spending more.

This is a product that I purchase on a regular basis. And, for the most part, I was satisfied with the quality. Solgar is a name I trust. However, the last of the two packs that I ordered; It's likely that the second jar is faulty. I believe the pills are leaking fish oil, which is preventing me from taking them. They have a strong fish oil flavor and an overpowering fish odor. I thought I'd be able to handle it, but I'm afraid I won't be able to - It's no surprise that pills were developed because drinking fish oil must have been a horrible experience. Unfortunately, because the first jar I opened and used was fine, it appears that returning this second defective jar is too late because the return window has passed. I'm very disappointed about this, especially because it's a high-priced product, and I'm not sure how to avoid it in the future, but it's definitely concerning.

There's a problem with this batch of Omega 3. I've bought before, and the capsules were always clear. Brown spots can be found on these. I'm going to return it for a refund! As seen in the illustration.
