For two reasons, it's always best to take fish oil softgels BEFORE a meal that contains fat. Because this is a concentrated ethyl ester product, you'll need the fat to help it digest properly, and you'll also need the fat to help your body convert it to the triglyceride form, which we can absorb. I've tried fish oils, including natural salmon oils, and discovered that if you take them after a meal, you get a sort of "taste" later on. They aren't small; they're 15/16 of an inch long and 3/8 of an inch wide. They are about 2 grams in weight. They are, however, very simple to take. There are no seams or rough spots on these relatively thick molded gelatin (I assume) capsules. When you put the gelatin in your mouth, it quickly becomes very slippery. They have a smooth, tapered appearance. After letting them sit for 15 minutes in my mouth, I take them with a sip of water (or whatever). It only takes 20 seconds. I have a hard time swallowing some tablets, even small ones, due to the rough texture and the need to get them down before they fall apart; however, I find these to be very easy to swallow, with no bad aftertaste or other issues.

These are widely regarded as one of the best brands available. But, as with a lot of supplements, you'll need to take TWO capsules to get the dose listed on the label. This is always a little misleading and dishonest to me because one capsule does not contain 1200mg omega 3 oil. br>Anyway, the oil appears to be fresh because I open the capsules with my teeth and eat it that way. I think the oil tastes good, and I don't think there's any reason to eat a bunch of gelatin capsules. btw, EACH CAPSULE CONTAINS 600 MILLION MILLION MILLION MILLION MILLION MILLION MILLION MILLION MILLION MILLION MILLION M (300 milligrams of EPA, 200 milligrams of DHA, and 100 milligrams of?.
I've only been using it for about a week, but I'm already seeing incredible results. Because I suffer from dry eye, especially at night, I purchased these on the advice of my eye doctor. I wish I didn't have to write a bad review, but my order has a quality issue. Inside the jar, all of the tablets have glommed together. If it had just been the open jar, I could see how moisture could have gotten in. My order, however, included two jars, one large and one small. I haven't opened the smaller one yet, but shaking it reveals that all of the pieces have glommed together into one solid chunk. I'd come back, but I'm writing this after the return period has expired. I bought these three months ago, and I don't recall them being that way when I first opened the bottle, but since the unopened bottle is also that way, I'm assuming something is wrong with the tablets and they're leaking or something. Each capsule is also slightly deflated on its own.
For me, it's fantastic. Maintains a healthy level of triglycerides! I only take wild fish oil, and Carlson's is the best, because it's good for your skin, hair, and most importantly, your heart.
This is a high-quality product, and my triglycerides (sp) have dropped dramatically since I started taking it. I've been on it for two years and my score has dropped to 74. The doctor is unconcerned about my well-being. It's impossible to praise this product highly enough. I'm also not the healthiest person on the planet. My body mass index (BMI) is 28, so I need to lose weight.
The product is appealing to me, and the company has a good reputation. BUT, because this is a fish oil/krill product, the delivery person simply tossed the package on my steps in the hot summer sun. It wouldn't have taken much more effort to walk up two steps and place the package in the shade on my porch. In the presence of heat, any oil-based product will turn rancid. Just thought you might be interested.
We've been using this supplement for a long time but have never purchased it from the Good Health Store. They were stuck together when I opened it to start taking them. This is the first time I've come across this. Some of the bottles had broken, causing the entire bottle to clump together. Furthermore, there is no refund policy. I'm not sure how it happened, because some of them are also crooked. Were they heated to the point of melting in some way? There's no way of knowing, but I won't be buying from this store again.
