I'm not going to go into every detail of my mental and/or physical history right now. The goal is to assess how effective this product is. The short version is that I've been diagnosed with various "categories" of anxiety since childhood, as well as hormonal imbalances and depression as an adult. My doctor wrote me a prescription for Vascepa to help with my depression, but my local pharmacy told me that a) they don't carry Vascepa, b) the cost was close to $400, and c) my insurance wouldn't cover it. It should be obvious why I chose to start with these instead, to see if they could help. I began to notice an improvement in my moods and my ability to 'roll with' the bad days after only a week, especially during these extremely stressful times. br>br>As a disclaimer, I am not endorsing this as a miracle cure-all. all. I still have bad days, so I don't want anyone to believe that this will solve all of their problems. To address serious anxiety and depression issues, it takes a lot more than that, so I also seek professional counseling and therapy. Still, since taking this supplement, I've noticed a difference in my moods, so I believe that any new or added strategy contributes to the overall picture. br>br>UPDATE: br>br> I'd like to raise my rating from 4 to 5 stars after using these for a month. I've noticed a significant shift in my moods and thought patterns. The 'bad days' of depression are far less frequent, and I am able to recover from them much more quickly. I've noticed that I'm feeling more peaceful and optimistic in general, and my family has noticed a significant difference as well. These have proven to be extremely beneficial.
) has been a long-time favorite of mine. I've never had an issue with the fishy flavor, and I always eat it with or after a meal. Never drink on an empty stomach or immediately after eating. I recently noticed that my knees, back, and feet were less sore in the mornings. I was overjoyed, but I couldn't explain why. Then it hit me: this is what I've been missing all along! I switched to Carlson's soft gels about a month ago; a maximum of 3 omega-3 fatty acids per day; & EPA Gems 1 time per day EPA 2875mg in total - 750 mg of DHA The ratio of EPA to DHA should be at least 2 to 1. The number one represents inflammation. (This varies depending on the study, research, and other factors. ) There's a lot of information out there that's contradictory. )br>What is the purpose of this examination? With Carlson's fish oils, I've noticed a reduction in aches and pains since increasing my EPA intake and decreasing my DHA intake. pains. Given that it's the only significant change I've made to my diet, I'm relieved to see a supplement deliver results. (Keep in mind that fish oil is a long-term investment. ) The majority of online research'suggests' that seeing physical results takes a long time. /or as a result of a blood test ) As with any supplement, do your own research before putting your faith in the claims on the bottle.
I take supplements with extreme caution. I'm looking for the purest option that is also reasonably priced. Carlson is, in my experience, one of the best places to get high-quality supplements. The FDA tests this product on a regular basis, which is a bigger deal than it seems because the supplement market is essentially unregulated, which can lead to potentially dangerous substances if you aren't careful in your research. This is also pure enough to meet international standards. Many fish oil pills aren't completely transparent about how much fish oil is in each pill or what the fish oil content is. This allows you to see the exact amount of EPA and DHA in relation to the amount of fish oil used, as well as the source of the fish oil. For me, it has a personal benefit in that it is distributed in Illinois, USA, and I enjoy supporting American businesses. br>br>The flavor isn't important to me. I take the pills right away. It may be difficult for some people (it is difficult for my fiancee) because they are quite large. It's not for me because I take 11 pills of various medications and supplements at the same time every morning; perhaps I'm a freak. br>br>I take two pills per day, not because that's what the bottle says, but because I've done a lot of research on how much EPA and DHA is appropriate for my intended benefits and what scientific research suggests. There are a few other supplements that I take in addition to the ones listed above. As a result of this study, I'm taking a higher dose. If you want to learn about what kind of benefits you'll get and what dose you should take, I strongly suggest listening to podcasts, reading books or chapters in books, or watching online videos of credible scientists. For instance, 70% of Americans are deficient in Vitamin D, especially if you live up north. And Vit. D makes up a quarter of your DNA. If you don't get enough Vitamin D, you'll have some serious long-term problems. It isn't as straightforward as putting it in a multi-user environment. taking a simple pill and taking a vitamin I make it a point to have at least four people with me at all times. 6 grams per day, depending on the season (which is already quite high, in comparison). I spend a lot of time outside and get a lot of sun, but I live in the north. I also don't have a deficiency that isn't normal. You won't be able to tell what your body's vitamin levels are. There is no way to know what level of D you have because you haven't been If you're particularly deficient and want to stay within the 40-gram range, you may need to take 10 grams per day. 60 ng/ml. br>br>Overall, this Carlson product is fantastic, and you can trust it to help you achieve your objectives; however, you must first identify your objectives; do some research and you will reap the benefits.
I'm pleased with how things are going. This is the first time I've been able to quantify supplement results.
My doctor recommended that I take 4000 mg of Omega 3 daily to address my bad cholesterol levels that had begun to creep up and to avoid having to take a cholesterol-lowering prescription. I have purchased this item several times and will continue to use this brand. It was a huge success! This particular brand appeals to me because it is potent, pure, and does not leave an unpleasant aftertaste or cause me to burp, as some other brands do. In comparison to other brands, it is also reasonably priced. Carlson Maximum Strength comes highly recommended by me.
Omega 2000 is the eye health supplement I use. My eyes, like myself, are aging, and I don't have as much moisture in them as I once did; Omega 2000 helps to replenish that moisture and keep my eyes healthy.
