This is a great product, however, one star has been taken off due to the labeling, which I think is deceptive Calcium carbonate is in them, making them essentially expensive Tums, but the inactive ingredient is the only mention of it. Since I wasn't reading the label carefully, I paid more than I should have. I also bought them to avoid calcium carbonate, so it wouldn't conflict with my iron supplement, among others reasons. It is funny that it is marketed as papaya when the actual reason the fruit heals is the calcium carbonate. In an attempt to find out how much it was, I either didn't receive a return call or just missed it completely. I guess it is what it is. But aside from that, they work great, are delicious, and have a great snap to the texture. Additionally, I like that I can take just one for mild heartburn, rather than having to break up pieces of Tum(s).

I found it interesting that the first ingredient was sucrose and that corn was also included! We know that corn is a GMO, which is detrimental to the gut and many other organ systems. To the manufacturer of this enzymes please change the label, corn is not a product anyone should eat and soy is another GMO product. However, you add corn, which is highly undesirable. I will return this item and look for a sugar corn soy free natural product.
There is no way to explain how well these pills work to calm an upset stomach. Since they are chewable and can be eaten as many as you need, you can really get away with eating them. As a 200 lb man, I usually eat between five and six meals per day. It takes only minutes for the discomfort to disappear. When I sniffed the bottle, I discovered that the bad odor was coming from the bottle. No matter how hard I tried, either because I had heartburn or because this batch was bad, the smell was just too much for me, even when I needed something to take care of it. Due to the lateness of the return period, I will just throw them out and not buy these products.
