Questions & Answers

I find the phrase 'no B vitamins at night' to be quite energizing. Does anyone else use p5p to sleep? When are you going to do it?

I take mine in the evening. Chemo-induced neuropathy has left me in a state of recovery. Because my multi contains the HCl form of B6, I space them out by about 12 hours to give this version time to work. Yes, it appears to be beneficial. It does not keep me awake at night.

Is this the version that has been "activated"?

Yes, P5P is the activated form of B-complex vitamins.

I'm curious about the origins of this product. ?

Melville is a town in the state of New York.

Why is it that it melts in your mouth?

Supplements that pass through the stomach are more likely to be digested before reaching their intended location. Allowing certain supplements to dissolve and linger in your mouth for longer periods of time allows them to bypass digestion and enter the bloodstream directly. As a result, a higher percentage of your dose would be beneficial to you. B vitamins, like some others, are more delicate and less likely to be digested, requiring a lower dose. I hope that this has been understood. It's one of the reasons why multivitamins contain such high B doses. so that, hopefully, a usable dose gets through What did you see dissolve in your mouth before swallowing after you explained why you might want to do that with some things? An aspirin can be chewed and swallowed by me. They're a bit revolting! B12 is the most commonly used vitamin in this manner, and the effects are quite pleasant. This is not the case. 🤗

Only 50 milligrams
3/5

This is only 50 mg, not the 100 mg stated on the label. It is 100 mg, then it says per portion in tiny letters. br>One tablet equals one portion. br>Because each tablet is only 50mg, there are only 60 doses in the tiny bottle of 120 tablets. br>br>This is carefully worded to lead a hasty buyer to believe he is purchasing 100 mg. Con artistry at its finest.

LABELING THAT ISN'T TRUE
4/5

These were labeled as 50 mg tablets with a quantity of 120 when I first purchased them. 100 mg* 120 tablets is now on the label. They smuggle in the word 'per serving' in the fine print. And now, on the back label, it says that each serving contains two tablets, for a total of 100 mg. It appears to be a good product and a competitively priced source of p5p as long as you understand what you're buying.

B, but in a different way
5/5

Chemotherapy left me with lingering neuropathy in my toes. Certain B vitamins can aid in the elimination of this condition. The HCL FORM of B5 can be found in most vitamins. Long debate, but some people may benefit from switching to this format. These have been in my system for nearly 5 months. My neuropathy has gotten a lot better. I'm hoping to have it sorted out by the end of the year. br>br>The prognosis for neuropathy is getting better. The B6 in your multivitamin is most likely the hcl form, which has been linked to neuropathy in people who have a specific health condition. Extremely rare. You can, however, do some research on this. So that's what I went with. I still take my old multi, but I combine it with my coffee and this pill in the morning. It's been 12 hours. The neuropathy is getting better. One per day is what I do. So far, it appears to be working. You'll also need to check which type of B6 you have. Although I do not have the condition associated with B6 acquired neuropathy, this alternative form appears to be beneficial. It has improved significantly, as evidenced by two physician visits:.

My gestational diabetes may have been cured as a result of this
5/5

This could have been the key to my pre-natal diabetes disappearing! I had a slightly elevated glucose level on my first test, and I read that this vitamin could help. They began to be taken. I took the three-hour test less than two weeks later and found myself to be perfectly normal! It could have been beneficial!.

Unknown B6 deficiency had me fearing the worst; found out a B6 deficiency can really mess you up; I was tired, weak, and starting to think I had fibromyalgia because my body just hurt; found out my body wasn't turning B6 to its active form; took this, and in about a week I was back to my old self; I'm still taking these, but not as frequently as I was before; I'm now taking them three times a week
5/5

There is a slight bitterness to them, but I notice it more when I don't eat first, so I recommend pairing them with something flavored and you won't be able to detect it.

These are perfect for splitting! This brand was recently introduced to me via Amazon
4/5

To aid my MTHFR effects, I combine these with two other supplements. I found it to be less expensive than the brand I usually purchase. The tablet size is slightly smaller than that of the other brand, but the ingredient list is adequate. It is devoid of the fluff that I dislike. The best part is that these tablets always split perfectly in half, whereas my other brand almost never did. I never chew my pills, so I have no idea how they taste, but I think I've found my new brand, so I went ahead and reordered more, only to discover Amazon had drastically reduced the price. You've got to admire that!.

Diabetes during pregnancy
5/5

So, when I was 24 weeks pregnant, I was diagnosed with gestational diabetes. Two small studies that showed activated b-cells were discovered. 6 has the potential to reverse a 2-year-old diagnosis. 3 weeks. I'm convinced it made a difference. At 34 weeks, my blood sugars are lower than they were when I first started, and I've actually increased my carb intake. However, due to the possibility of interfering with milk production, I'm starting to wean myself off of them. I wasn't taking b6 before because I was suffering from terrible morning sickness (regular b-). I puked at number 6). This was not a problem for the midwife. I noticed a difference after just two weeks. Even if it was just a placebo effect, there was no harm done because I needed B6 anyway, and my body preferred the activated form. I haven't retested to see if I'd pass the test, but my blood sugar levels are consistently in the 85-100 range. The range is 105.

P5P is an anxiolytic that you can't beat for the price. It's similar to taking a muscle relaxant if you take enough of it. Carrie has brought you a good sleep aid that you'll remember the next day.
