This is one of the three types of niacin. It's critical to lower your cholesterol and triglycerides! One of the forms does not. ?

lowering of cholesterol and triglycerides It performs admirably. I take baby aspirin to counteract the effects if I flush from this. Because I take 1000mg of niacin, three aspirin is sufficient.

My triglyceride levels were 400. My blood level was 194 when I went to donate it! I've been taking one tablet per day for the past few months. I'm going to up the dose and see what my number is when I donate again (in 90 days). Good stuff, but stay away from statin drugs!! Naturals are the only ones I take.

My favorite aspect of ordering supplements from Amazon is the convenience, and the price is comparable to that of my Naturopath, Pharmaca, and other supplement websites. In addition, the Vital brand is tested for harmful metals and contaminants by an independent laboratory. Because there are few standards to keep people safe from contaminated vitamins, I don't use supplements that haven't been independently tested (I usually use supplements that have been independently tested by a third party).

Flush a little more

I like this niacin because it only gives me a slight flush, whereas other niacin I've tried causes my skin to itch and turn bright red on my face and body.

Although it is a small pill, it has the potential to become lodged in the back of my throat. I've been taking niacin 1000mg for about a year now, and the flushing is real. It's not gotten any easier. However, the good news is that it has significantly reduced my triglyceride levels!.

Potency of niacin can be determined easily - If you haven't taken in a long time and take 500 mg, you may experience flushing - The brand isn't up to par if there isn't any flushing. So that's how I measure efficacy.
