It started to get moldy on the spray cap halfway through, and the taste became funky and strange; I kept it in the refrigerator the entire time, but it still got moldy. Halfway through, I had to throw it away. br>br>In addition, Garden of Life was purchased by Nestle.
The reason for the review and its three stars, on the other hand. the substitution of plastic bottles for glass bottles It not only affects the taste, but it also bothers me to the point where I'm considering switching brands! This b12 was great until I realized I had mold growing all over the pump. It's downright revolting.
They made the switch from glass to plastic. I'm extremely disappointed! I also purchase Vit C and D3 sprays that are still sealed in their original packaging. At the very least, the ones I've recently purchased. The vit B12 spray bottle, which I've been buying for a while, was plastic this time; the plastic bottle is smaller, but it still holds the same amount of 2 oz. of vitamin B12. At the bottom, there is a "6. " I'm not sure what that means, but if it's the plastics code, "6" is one of the most toxic types of plastic available. I'm not going to buy anything else until they go back to glass.
I've ordered this a few times, so the taste is different each time.
I will not be purchasing this product again because it has mold growing inside the top and outside the top. Please inspect your product before purchasing it.
I hate giving a one-star rating to something from a company I adore. I read the box and bottle, and there is no mention of keeping it refrigerated. This is a huge blunder on the company's part. It grew mold twice just sitting in my cupboard with all my other supplements, and the first time I thought I must have done something wrong. It didn't grow back, no. If this is visible, I can only speculate as to what is going on inside the sprayer or bottle that isn't. I'd keep it in the fridge if I bought it again. For the love of God, I live in Michigan, which is far from tropical. This product is hazardous; please exercise caution when using it.
Otherwise, it will become moldy if not stored in the refrigerator. Otherwise, this is an excellent product that I will purchase again in the future. It also tastes great! It was the ideal morning pick-me-up for someone who avoids caffeine and prefers to live a natural lifestyle.
