Questions & Answers

Are circle lenses compatible with this device? Are you interested in the colored ones for cosplay? It is intimidating to use my fingers, so I'd like to have a tool that will help me. ?

While I don't wear those types of lenses personally, the material seems to be very soft and comfortable, and it's shape should work with any style of contact lens.

What am I doing wrong with this little tool, for those who have done well with it. Why can't it grip my lens properly so that it can be removed?

If I can help, that would be great. As a first-time contact wearer, this is a new experience for me. I bought it because my fingers are too big to place and remove them effectively, so despite some negative reviews I took a chance. Initially I wasn't able to really get a good grip on the lens, but after thinking about what it needs to work, I realized that the tongs aren't evenly spaced enough to get a good grip to bend or wrinkle it effectively. As I said, I applied pressure against the eye/lens with it to spread the tongs apart, which would allow them to reach the edge of the lens or close enough to it, where they would be able to grab onto it. When selecting the tongs it is essential that you hold them behind you far enough to prevent them from spreading, but not so far back that you cannot squeeze the tongs together and help pinch the lens. Upon realizing this, it became a very easy thing to do. My initial disappointment was due to counting on this to solve my problem. However, once I saw that it worked, I was relieved. In addition, it is probably harder to break the seal after a long day since they are drier and stick to the eye which makes it harder to remove them. Using a few drops of eye drops in my eyes before I try to remove them helps lubricate them and help them Be sure to make sure the tongs are dry before you use them, as this helps them grip even if you are just using eye drops. This will take a couple of tries to get down, and even once you do it, it will take a couple / few tries to get it right, but once you do, it works great.

Are toric lenses compatible with this product?

Soft lenses with toric capabilities are compatible with this product. My experience with it has been great! By the part that goes onto the contact, you need to have a good grasp of the tool.

There was a part of me that liked this
3/5

I had no troubles getting soft lenses out when I tried them for the first time years ago, but this time I had a difficult time. I found that popping them into the machine was not difficult, but getting them out was a challenge. It was a mixed bag of success with everything I tried. As a result, I did not obtain any results with the grip and pinch method, and my optometrist denied my request. When she left the room, she gave me the lenses and told me to put them in myself. Fortunately, that part was easy, and they were the lenses that I was supposed to leave in for one The only thing that would have been nice is if she stayed to work with me, but apparently she thought putting them in was the tough part, while getting them out was easy. It never occurred to me that this would be a problem when I left the office. called my kids and went online to check out what was going on. Believe it or not, my son taught me how to pinch and grab. This was the first and last time I did it. After that, it was just too difficult. Watching videos on YouTube was my only option in desperation. There were a number of people making use of You can use them like a small tweezer by folding them in half and bending. I found this to be not too difficult, but it still took a little longer than it should have and I didn't enjoy I thought this little hedge looked like a good investment when I first saw it and then read the reviews. There are no instructions to accompany the little stuffed animals, which is frustrating. They are very soft and come nicely packaged. It did not take me long to give up. My lenses did not grip when I used them as they were very flexible and very soft. You might have been able to get better results if you wet them first. I have found that using water lines on my eyelids is the most natural and easiest method for me. As soon as you press down on the top of the lens, a line on the lower lid should appear. Simply press down on the line and the lenses should pop right Using this method, I can remove both lenses with very little effort and very little time, and I do not have to touch my eyes at all. I recommend watching the following two videos on YouTube to learn more about this than I could ever hope to do. I've found this method to be the easiest for me because I blink a lot! It takes a bit of time and patience, but practice makes perfect! If you want to remove your contacts, then wet them before you try to take them out, so they don't stick to your There will come a time when you find a method that works. If it's harder than you thought it would be, then you'll wonder why you ever thought it would be.

When the correct technique is used, it works perfectly

Make sure the tongs are dry, that makes them easier to grip. Even if you put drops in your eyes, make sure the tongs are dry. You might need to try this technique a few times before you get it down, and you might even need to try it a few more times once you do, but once you do, it works great. It is much easier to rotate the ends with the other end than to use your If the cup is dry, add a drop or two of solution to the lens before you place it in your eye, I believe that helps to create a seal or a vacuum. To use the tool, push the tool gently against the eye, then slide it just a bit to be sure full contact is achieved, then.

Women with acrylic or gel nails will appreciate this! recently got contacts for the first time, and I have short acrylic nails, so I had a hard time taking out the soft contacts
5/5

My life was saved because of this! For several weeks now, I've struggled every night before going to bed in order to get rid of them, but now it's not a problem. It was not until I found this and tried it that I decided to keep trying. I am so thankful for this, since it took away all the stress involved in moving.

Change your diaper on the go while keeping it sanitary
5/5

It's fantastic! I'm in love! In a little bottle (cylinder), I keep it and when I am unable to wash my hands, I squirt a little saline inside to sterilize it, and it slides right under the lens inside the container and goes right into my eye. This product is never prone to mold or breakdown. The one I bought in 2016 is still working just fine. I bought three for just in case.

This is a great little thing
5/5

It has been a life saver after meeting this little guy. In order to remove my contacts, I am having a serious problem. This process entails a lot of poking, squishing, squinting, eye watering, and screaming of four-letter words. Also, I find that it is a very time-consuming task. The lil doodad caught my attention, so I decided to give it a go. It worked for me, the second pinch and the contact was gone. I missed the second contact on the first pinch (ah, My experience has been wonderful with it, despite it being super soft. I can understand where some might have problems, but in my case, everything has worked according to plan. Usually, inserting my contacts isn't difficult for me, but I also tried inserting my contacts with the inserter on the opposite end of the pincher and it worked flawlessly In addition to the two I already have in my bathroom and the one in my bag, I have ordered two more so I can have one in both my office and my It was a pleasure to give this a go.

REMOVAL OF CONTACTS AT ITS BEST! This was the only way I could properly remove the contacts without poking myself when my nails became too long
5/5

Compared to others on the market that are little more than picks with plastic tips, it is by far the superior product. A couple years ago, I purchased this item and lost it, and then it was no longer available for purchase. When I tried one of the other options on Amazon, I felt as if plastic were stabbed into my eye and there was no angle available. Since your eye is a sphere, the slanted tip of the remover is where all the power lies! This is the best hair removal product and I just ordered a second one in case they run out again. Using my new contact solution was like riding a bicycle. (It takes practice, but after getting my new box, I could take out my contacts with ease.
