Despite wearing RGP lenses, I do not replace my contact case frequently enough, and I am no better than the next person. Most likely once a year, when I pick up a free case from the eye doctor. Because the reservoirs in the typical cases are so big, I don't like using up all my expensive RGP fluid trying to fill them. That's one reason why I don't like the usual cases, available in stores. This kind of case is the same as the ones doctors give out. I find them to be a perfect fit for RGP, relatively easy to clean, and dry out fairly quickly. I like the way the lids fit and stay closed during the night. In spite of the fact that they're not secured enough, you shouldn't put your lenses in them and toss the case in a suitcase/bag and expect the lid to stay closed if it gets jostled. I like them because they are cheap and easy to use.

The cases I use are exactly the same as those given to me at my ophthalmologist's office. I wear rigid contact lenses (RGPs) and I find these to be the best. I can easily open and close them without worrying about leaks, so they can be carried in my purse or pocket without any worries. You also shouldn't use these cases for a long time. It is a pattern I follow, to alternate between 2 cases for a month or two, then to discard the cases and start fresh with the next set of.

This scleral lens is compatible with my large scleral lens amp I have been using it for the last 3 months without a problem. I really like how it works. The lid stays closed, and I change it out every month. The lids would need to be screwed on for that, so I don't carry it in my purse.

My search for a travel solution had not resulted in a solution that was lightweight and bulky or that didn't leak. In my opinion, this is the most appropriate answer. I must have gotten lucky. I love the cases. They're a perfect size to travel with and arrived in good condition. It is possible that it was just me, but I have not worn contact lenses for over 10 years, so perhaps it was a different experience for It was my hope that they would be small anyways as I plan on taking one in my purse and going camping with it. On that note, I've also tested the cap and it's got a really good seal on it so there's no chance it would leak! Once I opened and sealed it back up, it almost became impossible to get it off! The hold is very strong! Additionally, they look great on countertops and stand out. The ice pack is compact, elegant, and durable. So I would highly recommend the ice pack, especially for the price.
