Until you read the ingredients, the product appears to be excellent. It is not safe to eat or drink carrageenan, also known as poligeenan. It causes gut tumors and ulcers in animals, and it may even lead to colon cancer, according to research. Methylene chloride is found in acesulfame potassium, which is a carcinogen. In humans, long-term exposure to methylene chloride can result in headaches, depression, nausea, mental confusion, liver, kidney, and visual disturbances, as well as cancer. We should not be used as test subjects. I would not purchase this item until the ingredients were changed. I'd even written to the company to inform them of the serious issue. This is something that more people should be concerned about.
