Yes, I believe so. I don't like the taste or smell of the shakes in plastic bottles. The can snacks remind me of a light chocolate milk, to be honest. They're much better in my opinion, but they're extremely difficult to come by in stores. I've only been able to find them on Amazon. I'm having trouble keeping them away from my great-grandson, who is three years old. grandson. I told him they were for sick people before, so now he comes over, takes one from the fridge, and says he wants "sick people's food." If it tells you anything, he adores them. (Serve them cold if possible.)
As far as I can tell, this drink is made up of ingredients, vitamins, and minerals that are meant to help diabetics maintain a healthy blood sugar level as a snack or meal replacement. In our experience, it had no effect on weight loss.
There has to be a blunder somewhere. A four-pack of 8-ounce cans costs $5 at Walmart. 54 each.

He had lost a lot of weight, his color was off, and he didn't have any energy, which I noticed a few months ago. I bought these for him, and now he won't let go of them - There isn't a single one for me to try! He adores them, and if I can't get him to eat anything else, I'll serve them to him. He'll get a good shake out of it. Oh, and as far as whether or not this product has helped him, he prefers the plastic bottled ones over the cans, but I believe that is due to preference rather than taste. He isn't gaining weight, but his color has improved, and he now has enough energy to go for walks, work in the yard, and enjoy his retirement. I especially like the part about him "enjoying his retirement"!.
These snack shakes are fantastic, especially the chocolate flavor. The flavor isn't like any other shake you've ever had. They used to be available for less than $6 for a four-pack at Walmart, but they are no longer available. The price is around $6 if you can find them anywhere. 79! Bottled shakes have a different flavor than these. They are unappealing to me.
I was looking for cases of liquid bottles, not the self-mix powder can. Yes, the bottles are better tasting, but I ordered the powder so that I could take it with me on my trip! So, while I can drink what was sent eventually, it didn't meet my travel requirements. So now I have to go find and buy what I thought I had ordered and needed from somewhere else.
Everything went according to plan. For diabetics, I use it as a mid-meal snack. I usually drink half and then the other half later that day or the next. The flavor of vanilla is wonderful. Chocolate has a lot of power. For a change, I'll occasionally combine the two.
These are delicious. On Amazon, there was a coupon! They have a delicious flavor. Diabetics will benefit from them- no sugar. Shipping is absolutely free. yay! My only complaint is that I prefer bottles to cans. However, for the price, I'll drink these straight from the can.
Always order bottles with 180 calories and 10 grams of protein; instead, I received cans with 140 calories and 7 grams of protein; I'm not happy on a certain diet after a stroke.
APO was used to ship the items to Afghanistan, and they arrived much sooner than anticipated. The taste is pleasant, and this product has helped me manage my blood sugar fluctuations between breakfast and lunch. I'm not hungry, and I'm not eating a lot of calories, and my blood sugar levels have leveled out. The vanilla and chocolate were my choices, and they both satisfied my sweet tooth.
