My husband has an intolerance to milk products, so the other Ensure didn't sit well with him, so the clear was recommended. He claims it tastes delicious and is easy to digest. We couldn't find it for a lower price anywhere else.

Excellent product for people who don't have enough appetite or strength to eat enough calories and nutrition. This is a convenient way to get nutrition in a package that's simple to open and consume. For those who require a thicker consistency to avoid aspiration, it can be thickened with thick it. br>br>I bought it for my 89 and 93-year-old parents, who are in need of a caloric and nutritional boost; my father likes the fruit punch flavor, but my mother says it's too sweet for her (she only eats bland foods).

It's something I have to have whenever I'm in a hospital. br>I have pancreatitis that is chronic. Eating is difficult for me because it causes a great deal of pain in my pancreas. I was only 99 pounds when I was last admitted to the hospital. I am 5'5. My Ensure Clear is always available to me. I couldn't find them in the store, but I did manage to track them down on Amazon. They're a little on the pricey side, but I think they're well worth it. br>In two weeks, I'll be relocating to Michigan from California. I need to get there by car. It will take four days to complete. To bring with me, I purchased a case of my favorite mixed berry. I can't drink soda, and you never know what you'll find at gas stations, convenience stores, or restaurants. It makes no difference to me right now. They don't need to be refrigerated, and they're just the right size, neither too big nor too small. Maybe a smidgeon too few! Stress aggravates my condition, and it has already been stressful, and I expect it to become even more so before I arrive in Michigan with everything I own. I'll have my 'juice boxes,' so whatever happens, I'll have something to eat that won't make me sick or hurt my stomach.

If it hadn't been for ensure, and I've been addicted to all flavors of regular, clear, and Enlive, the aftermath of a medical disaster last summer would have been far more debilitating than it would have been if I hadn't had these high protein and vitamin drinks. I'm not sure I would have survived another bout of ischemic bowel disorder, this time in the form of infected, hemorrhaging ulcers in my lower colon, if my BMI had been optimal and I hadn't been using Ensure products. As things stood, I was suffering from hypovolemia and septic shock, had lost 80 pounds in less than six months, was malnourished to the point of starvation, had lost most of my hair, and was not in the best of moods. I still require this as a source of protein that my gut can tolerate, but I'm gradually resuming a normal diet. I like to buy Ensure regular with milk in it, heat it up, and add some powdered espresso to it for breakfast, and that's it; the clear is also great when mixed with Tropicana probiotics and other juices. Put everything in a blender with some ice and you've got yourself a delicious, refreshing summer drink that's also packed with nutrients. Although it is not inexpensive, it is an excellent product.

You should give the clears a shot! My BF's life was saved by Ensure clears, and my mother's life could have been saved as well. My boyfriend has undergone radiation and chemotherapy treatments. TWICE. Because his taste buds were messed up from the chemo both times, everything tasted bad. Regular ensures were too much for his body to bear. Ensure clears were the only thing he could eat without throwing up. They were able to get him through until his taste buds had recovered. He began at a weight of 205 pounds. He'd lost 120 pounds. My mother is currently undergoing treatment. Her taste buds had a lot in common with mine. foul. She did not consume any food. weeks on end Two cases at a time are sent to her.
