br>When I awoke, I checked my blood sugar and it was 119. I only drank one Atkins Mocha Latte and didn't eat or drink anything else for the rest of the day. After an hour, I tested again, and the result was 224. I repeated the test for the next two days and got the same result each time. 100 to 120 points were added to the score. br>These are tasty, but they don't appear to be only 5 carbs. I lost 54 pounds drinking one Mocha Latte drink for breakfast and one for lunch when I first discovered it a few years ago. Then, in the evening, I ate a balanced meal. It took a year for me to lose weight. I lost 224 pounds and gained 170 pounds. The ideal weight for me is I like this drink so much that I would drink it even if I wasn't trying to lose weight. I wish that some of the other protein shakes, particularly the new 30 mg protein shakes, came in a coffee flavor. Atkins did recently introduce a 30 mg shake, but it was only available in Chocolate.

It's a nightmare. The previous formula, in particular, had a creamy mocha flavor that was smooth and creamy. The new formula leaves a bitter aftertaste and isn't particularly smooth. I had a few cartons of the old formula on hand, so I compared the ingredients. The old version also had instant coffee for flavor, but the new version added caffeine, and I believe the biggest difference in taste was due to the removal of acesulfame potassium, a sweetener. I had this on Subscribe and Save, but I'm canceling it because the flavor is terrible.

They've changed the flavor now, and it's awful! It's not more like coffee, as some have suggested; in fact, I enjoy coffee's flavor. It leaves a horrible fake sugar aftertaste on my palate, as well as some other disgusting chemical taste. Unfortunately, I just bought three cases of 15 thinking they had only changed the packaging and not the product, so beware if you've used these before; they are not the same!.

I believe that for many people, these shakes can replace their daily coffee. They're delicious and give me a boost of energy. They're also very filling; I drink them as soon as I wake up, when I'm ravenous. I wouldn't recommend them as a breakfast replacement because they only keep you going for a few hours; however, I enjoy the other flavors and these shakes keep me going all day! I always have three things in my bag. My refrigerator has four of them.

Although this is a good product, it contains a lot of potassium. My most recent Amazon delivery. The low cost does not compensate for the poor packaging.
