I believe the ones I purchased were older than a year, but I kept them in the freezer because they soften in less than an hour.
As a meal replacement, I combine them with a 100-calorie protein shake from Muscle Milk. This is something I do at least twice a day! Using this method, I am always able to keep my stomach full. Furthermore, the bars are delectable.

THE ENDOCRINE SYSTEM WILL BE INTERFERED WITH BY THIS PRODUCT. These bars were said to be the best on the market, and that they were created by a doctor. THIS PRODUCT, ON THE OTHER HAND, IS A THYROID AND ENDOCRINE DISRUPTOR. I SHOULD HAVE READ THE LABEL BEFORE PURCHASING, BUT I HAD AN IMMEDIATE REACTION WITH MY THYROID.
They're ideal for my 7th grader to grab for breakfast or a snack on her way out the door before soccer practice. They are also a good size. It may sound strange, but these are REAL FOOD, not synthetic sawdusty fiberous things covered in plasticky chocolate, as are most other nutrition or protein bars. We all give it our highest recommendation!.
BEWARE! Amazon shipped an out-of-date product, despite the fact that the order had been placed 12 days before. 10 with a date of expiration The food from the previous order had gone bad! These bars are great, but Amazon's quality control is lacking!.
I'm subscribed to them. Because I eat one every morning, I've decided to save some. It's like eating a "not quite as bad for you" candy bar first thing in the morning. However, be aware that they do not handle summer transit well (as shown in the photo). Be careful when opening because the coating has melted, solidified, and flakes off.
My stomach is paralyzed, and the foods I can eat are fairly limited; I'm having trouble getting all of the nutrients I require, and I'm in desperate need of protein! However, if it tastes bad, I'm not going to eat or drink it. When all else fails, Carnation Breakfast Essentials in chocolate flavor mixed with milk provides me with an entire meal's worth of nutrition in a glass, but I despise having to drink every meal! br>I'm a huge fan of cookie dough, so when I saw these cookie dough protein bars with 10 grams of protein per bar, I had to try them. I bought a box because the image on the box looked delicious. And, lo and behold - They have the same appearance as the front of the box and taste exactly like chocolate chip cookie dough! When I told my aide to go back to the grocery store and get me a few more boxes, she went to every one in my area and came up empty-handed. She found a brand that was similar, but I spit it out after one bite! If you enjoy eating cookie dough and need a protein boost, this is the recipe for you. This product is absolutely fantastic, and I even eat it as a snack! I've been able to find them only on Amazon, but if you want some, you'd better hurry before I run out, lol!.
It's far too old. These Zone bars, unfortunately, are past their prime. Every single one was stale and unappealing to eat. My favorite flavor is the Cinnamon Roll, which is delicious. I decided to try the strawberry because I am a sucker for anything strawberry-flavored. Outside, these strawberry bars have the same yogurt frosting, but much of it has melted to the sides or bottom, leaving none on the top, as if they had been stored in the sun. Despite the fact that all of the bars were stale and tasted like eating old cardboard, I ate them anyway because they were my protein meal and I didn't have anything else. I'm not going to place another order. If stored properly, I believe this flavor could have been tasty at one point. They weren't expired, so I'm guessing it had something to do with storage, but who knows. It wasn't a big deal; it was only one box in my life, so let's move on. If I were you, I'd follow your lead.
Every month, I have these bars delivered to me automatically. Clearly, I am a big fan of them! The only problem I have is that every ninth or tenth bar has gone stale. What I mean is that it isn't as soft as the others, but rather firm and chewy. I'm not sure why, but I've consumed enough of these bars to recognize when something isn't quite right.
They taste exactly like cookie dough, but you don't have to worry about being judged or getting salmonella from them. Bonus points for consistently assisting me in meeting my protein intake targets! br>br>I used to buy these at the supermarket, but Amazon has them for a lot less.
