The flavor isn't ideal for relaxing at home or at work with a cup of tea, or for driving in a car. However, the relatively pleasant taste of all the bars, particularly the Apple Currant (awesome) and Red Berry (excellent), is just right for 'in-workout' consumption- not too sweet, not too dry, and not too bland-- So many bars make me feel sub-par as I get tired. (too sweet, or difficult to digest, or/and dry and bland)- These have a nice balance of sweetness and sourness, and they're great for in-between meals. For me, it's a digestive workout. The majority of other brands are either overly sweet or overly dry. These SIS bars aren't for you!.
The flavor is lacking. These are good energy bars, but they aren't the most convenient to eat (unlike their gels, which are fantastic). The flavors just don't quite hit the mark; they taste like they should. It's like a synthetic peanut butter, banana, or chocolate spread. I'd eat these in an emergency, but not as part of my regular workout routine, which is disappointing given how much I enjoy their gels.
Fudge made with bananas. I rely heavily on energy supplements due to the amount of training I do. Finding a quick source of energy while teaching back-to-back classes is critical for me as a group fitness instructor. I recently tried a 5-pack of energy bars in a variety of flavors. Because one of the flavors didn't appeal to me, I only gave it a 4 out of 5 rating. Fudge made with bananas. The fact that I felt like I was eating real food was one of the things I liked about these bars. Not just a processed/compact bar, but grains could be detected. I used to eat these bars in between teaching two or three one-hour classes, and they were perfect. Ensuring that I have enough energy to get through the next class.
The only disadvantage is that it is pricey, but I still recommend it.
Unlike many other products, this one does not cause any stomach discomfort. I didn't need to dilute what I ate with water. It is claimed that the product is isotonic. This, I believe, is why it doesn't upset my stomach during long runs. I believe the product is well-designed.
In comparison to the other fuel bars on the market. They're the best, and I've tried most of the cyclists' bars. It's a small bar that doesn't need to be consumed with water and provides about 45 minutes of leg fuel.
Because of this, I gave it a five-star rating. My body requires all of the extra energy it can get as a crossfitter. When it comes to supplements, I always prioritize taste and, of course, the amount of energy they provide during my workout. I recently came across a 5-pack of energy bars that came in a variety of delicious flavors. I gave it a five-star rating because I enjoy almost all of the flavors, and it was a great pre-workout snack to have on hand while running to crossfit. It has a very natural flavor to it, which is important to me! Definitely my new favorite hangout spot!.
