I can see how someone might be misled now. "Sports Performance Mix" was the reply I got.
Caffeine may or may not be present in any of the cytomaxes. Caffeine isn't listed as an ingredient in this Cool Citrus drink on the label. You can always go to the Cytomax website and look up the ingredients for each flavor, but I can't speak to the other flavors because I don't have access to them. This one, however, does not contain any caffeine.
There isn't any energy jolt. It's crucial for my endurance on a long ride; if my bike ride or workout lasts more than an hour, I'll need it. Otherwise, I lose energy as the day progresses and find it difficult to complete a long bike ride or hike; it also helps me recover more quickly if I exercise on consecutive days; and it prevents muscle cramps when I drink it. On hot days, I drink a quart every ten miles, and on cold days, I drink a quart every twenty miles. It doesn't leave a lump in my stomach like some of the other energy drinks do. For the past four years, it's been my go-to energy drink. My friends, on the other hand, are not fond of it.
Yes, each serving of Tangy Orange contains 25 milligrams of caffeine. Caffeine is present in only this flavor; the others are caffeine-free.

I started using Cytomax years ago when I was serious about bicycle racing. Maybe it was just a placebo effect, but using this stuff made me feel better in the final stages of a race or a long bike ride. An insulin reaction could have been caused by the old standby, Gatorade. Towards the end of the second bottle, it didn't sit well on my stomach. Stopped racing and returned to Gatorade because it was more convenient. br>This season, I made the decision to compete and purchased a'smart trainer. ' The old crash and stomach upset began on the longer sessions after a few sessions of drinking the 'G. ' My problems have vanished since I added Cytomax to my shopping list. I finish the intervals strong, ready for a couple shower beers as a reward; I'm still old, fat, and slow, but at least I'm in good spirits.
Since the early 2000s, I've been using Cytomax for long-distance mountain biking, as well as some running and weightlifting. It kept me from becoming too sore, allowing me to get back to my workouts sooner, and it also kept me from becoming dehydrated and tired while mountain biking in hot weather. It had a flavor similar to the old Tang drink. It clumped up and became difficult after a while, but it was incredible; there was nothing else like it on the market, and I haven't found anything comparable since. I've tried almost everything, and nothing comes close to what I've experienced. It was also great for getting rid of a hangover, and I used it to help a lot of friends get off the couch. For all of my requirements, the new recipe is ineffective. They essentially fixed the flavor and clumping issues at the expense of the product's effectiveness and quality. At this point, you're buying powdered punch with potassium and vitamin C, as well as some sweetener. This may or may not work for others, but it no longer works for me.
The actual container label for the Tangy Orange contains caffeine and dimethylpolysiloxane, but neither of these ingredients are listed on the website container label. I purchased the Cool Citrus a month ago because neither of these ingredients were listed on the website label, but the dimethylpolysiloxane was listed on the actual product container. Dimethylpolysiloxane is a chemical that is used in the manufacturing of anti-microbial products. It's a foaming chemical, and I'd rather not have it in my Cytomax; I'll be complaining to the company; I didn't have it before, and I didn't mind the foaming; it was never an issue for me kayaking, MTBing, snowboarding, or backpacking!.
The price was reasonable, the Tangy Orange flavor was delicious, and it did an excellent job of keeping me hydrated and supplying electrolytes to my body. However, the Tangy Orange flavor has been replaced by Cytosport. I'm not sure if they changed manufacturers or the formula, but the flavor is awful. Maybe I got the first batch, and there were some issues, but in any case, I'm disappointed and looking for a new sports drink.
I've been using Cytomax since it was first released - in an apple flavor that's been passed down through the generations I felt there was tangible proof of the claims that it prevented lactic acid buildup and helped an athlete perform at a high level for longer periods of time back then, but this new stuff, while tasty in the tropical flavor, doesn't seem to have the same effect. Sure, I'm older now, and working out on the stairmaster and lifting weights isn't as intense as a stage race, a hundred-mile training ride, or ten-minute intervals, but Cytomax appears to be more of a tasty drink than a performance enhancer. It's possible that the strange apple flavor, which is now sadly unavailable, added to the mystery. Or maybe I'm just not looking for the same kind of endurance help I used to. In any case, with this in my bottle, I drink a lot more at the gym, which can't be a bad thing, right? Take a chance and try it out. You'll most likely consume more alcohol as a result.
This electrolyte powder brand is one of our favorites. We started buying it locally in 2009 for our Krav Maga and CrossFit workouts, especially because I suffer from severe muscle cramps and get an upset stomach if I just drink water during exercise; I am hypoglycemic, so this was ideal for me. Our supplement store stopped carrying it after a few years, so we had to turn to Amazon. It's by far the most budget-friendly mix we've tried. It also doesn't have a strange aftertaste from the artificial sweeteners. br>When we ran out of this, I tried some more expensive products, but I always came back to this. br>We also use it on vacations, such as Disney trips, where we can walk up to 25k steps per day and often forget to drink enough water on hotter days. If you need something similar, it's worth a shot.
We've used it for family outings and other outdoor activities over the years. Muscle fatigue will ruin any enjoyable day of yard work or fun in the Texas broiler weather. It never fails to get us through the day, and our muscles thank us for it. On the hottest days, our grandson can practice baseball for hours and is still going strong when the others are fading after attempting to hydrate with standard supermarket sports hydration drinks. The price is extremely reasonable for what you get.
You get exactly what you see, so if you're willing to pay $24 for two, go ahead. 16 pound sugar and 2 pound of salt Go ahead and eat the 34 pounds of "everything else. " The product arrived quickly, was packaged attractively, and mixed well. I made the mistake of not reading the nutrition label before purchasing. I assumed, however, that when I bought an electrolyte drink powder, I was buying electrolytes (primarily).
