They lack too much thickness so you can easily fit them in cracks and nooks. Also, it wouldn't look nice to have a line under the buttchecks and my leg, would it? I love it! As a thank you, they sent a note and offered me a free gift on their website but I don't know my Amazon account number, so I couldn't get one. But one of the options was a $5 Amazon gift card which would have paid for the gloves practically! It did not have a weird smell when I opened it and it was packaged properly in an airtight bag which I thought was helpful, as I was worried about spiders nesting inside the gloves (anxiety is awful) like that. I highly recommend it! Three gloves are included, and I really appreciate that the exfoliating glove was not too big for my smaller hands, as they've been in the past! I ordered black so they wouldn't be stained up, but I guess it wouldn't matter if they were stains because they still work fine. My hope is that this was helpful and I will update when I wash them to let you know.
