My lips have a heavy, waxy feel to them. The scent of lemon is pleasant at first, but it fades quickly. After a few minutes, it turns into a revolting chemical odor and taste, which is truly revolting. In fact, I've tried a few EOS lip balms and this one is by far the worst!.
Listen, I adore this balm and paid a few extra dollars to have it shipped faster, which was well worth it UNTIL I received it and discovered it had already been opened and used. When I removed the lid from the package, I discovered some scratches on the balm. Needless to say, I am not going to use it.
They arrived opened; the shipping box was fine, but the items inside had been opened, which is not acceptable for lip balm in gift bags.
Otherwise, it appears to be in good condition, having been shipped in an outer bag and then another plastic sealed bag containing the EOS packaging. The plastic bubble on the EOS packaging's cardboard appears to have popped off or been tampered with. In comparison to other used and new EOS balms I own, this one appears to be brand new. I'm still debating whether or not I want to take a chance. In any case, I'm in an unacceptable situation because I can't confirm or deny tampering.
I saw this on the internet and thought it sounded like a nice flavor. I liked the package's color, but when I tried it for the first time, it tasted and smelled strange. Maybe it's because it's brand new, I reasoned. I used it for a few weeks, but the smell and flavor did not improve. I'm willing to try other Eos products, but I'm not going to buy this scent again.
I'm glad the lemon is back in the EOS lip balm lineup, and I hope it stays there. However, I'd like to see a line without the SPF, because some of us don't need it, and that part of the product tends to dry out the skin on our lips.
I decided to order one to see what all the fuss was about. I'm not a fan, to be honest. It did not appear to be on for very long. The shape, while useful in some ways, isn't ideal because it won't fit in your pocket (I use lip balm all the time at work). br>It claims to hydrate deeply, but I didn't get that impression. I was disappointed, but I suppose it works for others.
EOS makes some of the best lip balm on the market, and this one is no exception! This is the balm for you if you like the smell of lemon and need a good lip moisturizer. Container is bright yellow and has a practical shape for applications. I'd buy it again in a heartbeat.
