I've used this product for years, but it was always packaged in a long tube with a pull-off cap. I believe the formula is slightly different, allowing them to shape it differently without making it too thin. It's been crumbly and difficult to apply since I tried the new "deodorant" shaped stick. Because I used it as usual, I got a little sunburned, but apparently not enough. It was crumbly when I tried to apply it to the back of my son's neck, and I couldn't get the crumbles to rub into the skin with my hand; it's not horrible, but if it's going to be a pain to apply, I'll just stick with the "natural" kind. The only reason I chose this over a titanium dioxide-based face stick with fewer chemicals was because of the ease with which it could be applied. To make matters worse, this is one of the few products that does not irritate the skin on my face when it comes into contact with it; I hope they don't stop making the round stick entirely.
BB products are a favorite of ours. And, while I like the roll-on option for your face, I don't think it's necessary. These have a cap that isn't always willing to close. As a result, it created a tangle in my daughter's camp backpack. It also doesn't apply as smoothly as some of the other similar products. The wider roll, on the other hand, appeals to me. It's simple to use and won't irritate your skin or eyes. I'm a huge fan of this item! It works as long as you follow the instructions carefully (coverage, reapplication, waiting before swimming, and so on). I also like that my child can apply it effectively and enjoys doing so. We've been using this product for a few years, and my sensitive, red-skinned skin has responded well to it. It has never gotten into or burned the eyes of a child with a large head. In our household, this item is a must-have. It appears to be a travel-related item. It's a good-sized deodorant that lasts a long time. In the summer, we use it on a daily basis, and one stick should last two to four weeks.
