My current one has been in use for a few months now We are still working on it today. The device will remain in my daily routine well into 2017 and I plan to continue using it. I prefer it to other shaving creams because it's packed with lanolin, and it gives a very smooth shave. In the cabinet, the one I like best.
A smell like milk soap like the kind one would find at a Bucee's or a country store seems to come through. It has a mild scent, but is very clean and pleasant to smell
This is the size of the dish with the lid on. With the lid on, it is around 13" wide and 2" deep. The soap is about 4" in diameter. The size of an orange

There may have been some benefit in packing the box with padding or peanuts because the container was demolished. Gee, thanks for taking the time to shave on the West coast.
My first experience with DE wet shaving was buying a lot of different shaving products before realizing that soaps work just as well (if not better!) and tend to last longer, ultimately making them a more economical choice. (ranging from awful to awesome), I finally purchased MWF after seeing so many great reviews on shaving forums. * When I first started using it, some other noobs had complained about it being difficult to make a lather. I find it to be much easier than any other soap I've made. It is producing more lather and a richer one. In what way? Besides soaking my badger hair brush in hot water for about five or more minutes, I also put hot water in the bowl so the soap is covered. I empty the soap bowl after shaking out my brush so the water needs to go back. The brush was swirled around on the softened soap, and I soon had a lot of lather on my brush. Rather than work that into my mug, I switched to face lathering, which I found to provide a lot more value for less time and effort. Using your face instead of a bowl allows the balm to hydrate better, soften your beard, and improve the appearance of your skin. Soap does not need to be used more than 3 times to get all three passes. My reorder list will include this one. As well, some people may be interested in learning where to procure this item when it runs out. It has a relatively low scent compared to other products I use, which I enjoy. Everything is safe to be used after shaving balm, skin food, etc.
I am a new wet shaver and new to hard water. To all other women out there, I would say the scent is unisex, and it's awesome! My shaves are super smooth, my lather does not seem to be difficult for me, so I do not have the same problems as some users. A problem with your technique rather than the soap is most likely what is causing it. In the event you need help, here's what I do Then dump that out (or build lather on top of it to avoid wasting soap), then take a wet brush with a few dabs of water on the tips (after soaking it and squeezing water out) and load 'em If you struggle lathering up with it, I recommend tutorials because I live in hard water in a city with a river that glows green (not really, but it's one of the dirtiest) and I can lather this stuff up in no time.
When I was in college, I started doing it with an unsuitable razor. At the time, I might have been just learning the rules from a loving Uncle, who would only let me shave with hard soap and a real brush when I was a teenager. There was a ceramic cup where the soap was stored and a named soap that he gave me. That was such a great movie. I never asked him since he was my supplier, so I was never aware of the brand. Over the years, it has been more convenient for me to use canned cream. In the last few years, I switched to using hard shave soap completely. There was something vaguely familiar about the labeling that prompted me to order it. I was amazed at how well it lathered. Its scent ignited memories in me as I applied it to my face. have no doubt Mitchell's is the one he gave me and used for most of his life. The shave it gives me is magnificent. I love the way that it glides over my face as well as not clogging my razor. Razor with a blade. Rinsing the sink clean is easy after you finish using it. When I sit at the stone counter and look over the ceramic container, I get nervous. The odds are my Uncle dropped it or simply never covered it when he dropped The cover usually stays in the sink drawer because I find it difficult to remove it. In the time since I've been using it, I've noticed that it lifts my shave, leaves my skin softer, and also makes shaving easier. I've been using it for at least a couple weeks and the soap bar has barely worn at all. Shave soaps are popular, and this soap is worth a try if you are a current user or looking to try one for the first time. It doesn't seem possible for someone not to like it, except if they like to lather up their faces so they look like Santa's.
It has been around for ages for a good reason, and this soap is a classic. Generally, the quality of this product is good. There is nothing better than a ceramic shaving dish to put soap in, but you still get a really nice presentation. It's a pleasure to receive these dishes and soaps, which have been packaged securely and in a tasteful manner. A high amount of lanolin in the product contributes to a great post-shave face feeling. A facial moisturizer like MWF is the gold standard for post-shave comfort. This is a triple milled soap that lasts for a long time. MWF has been in my life for over a year now. A lot of blooming has been done on the puck and it A nice lather is very important when shaving with a straight razor, and MWF makes a nice slick lather. Compared to the cost of the replacement pucks, the refills are affordable. The Mitchell's Wool Fat is available in every shaving online store, so you can find it easily. There is a lot of variation in price, so do your research. The cons are In order to obtain the best lather, one must bloom the soap with HOT water while showering, because if one doesn't know the trick, the soap will not lather. As long as this is done, there is no real problem. It whips It's easy to hate it when you load it up. Work the brush and fill it until it is full. The price is not cheap, but it's a quality product. The ceramic bowl is a good option if you want to buy MWF. The product is worth the price, but many people find it too difficult to use to justify the price. Was it worth the price to me? Would I buy it My apologies, but I am not sure. Even if I lived long enough to finish THIS triple-milled puck, I might not have enough time to do so.
