Questions & Answers
They don't contain any wax. They're supposed to be used with a wax product, and I use Moom Organic Hair Removal Kit With Lavender (for extra sensitive skin). Since 2008, I've been using both products, and they're both fantastic.
These are fantastic, in my opinion. Gigi waxes as well as other waxes are used. I prefer the browner strips (which are more like a cloth than a paper, as these appear to be). Legs, bikini, underarms, and face are some of the places where I use them.
That's what I think. However, to make them more manageable, I recommend cutting them into smaller pieces.
There are cloth muslin strips available for a more luxurious and soft client experience, but they aren't always the easiest to work with if your "pull" isn't consistent and even. Other cloth materials that pill, lint, and even have dyes may irritate the skin or may not take with the wax formula if you aren't skilled and trained properly in waxing. I hope this has provided you with a satisfactory response to your query.
Selected User Reviews For GiGi Small Natural Muslin Epilating Strips for Hair Waxing / Hair Removal, 100 Strips
I expected the GiGi Cloth Epilating Roll to be thinner, like paper or plastic, when I first purchased it. In fact, it's the same thick, white synthetic material that came with the One Touch, Surgi, or Clean. Simple to roll-up waxer refills, which are no longer available. I've never been a fan of those strips and prefer to use cotton fabric instead. And I'm not a fan of the Cloth Epilating Roll. The material is too stiff and impervious to water. It does not conform to irregular surfaces like the bikini area, elbows, or knees. It also doesn't adhere to wax as well as cotton. Wax will never pass through it to the other side, as other reviewers have pointed out, because wax does not penetrate it, making it difficult to use with patchy or cold wax. Cotton muslin, or just about any woven cotton or cotton blend fabric, is much more appealing to me. The wax adheres better and is unaffected by bumpy or lumpy surfaces. The roll is 3 inches (7. 25 cm) wide and can be cut to any length. 8cm) in width.
They're great because they're easy to cut with scissors and you can't feel the sticky wax through them (unlike some other brands/material strips). I learned to wax on my own, so I'm no expert, but I've tried three different types of strips and these are the best.
This material is thick and synthetic, similar to polyester construction paper, and it doesn't stick to the wax very well. Because the wax does not always pull away with the paper, you must reapply it, rub it into the wax, and pull it again. This is extremely inconvenient, painful, and unneeded. And if you're a stay-at-home mom like me, If you're a waxer who frequently uses the same strip, you'll end up with more wax on your legs (or wherever) than you started with. br>br>I've been waxing for more than a decade, mostly in salons but also at home (due to COVID). This material may be effective for you, but it is not effective for me. Muslin or muslin-blend fabrics are my favorites. such as cotton fabric that is actually cloth (some people dislike cotton pilling, but I don't mind it). I'm not sure how they define cloth, but this isn't what I'd call it.
These are far superior to the previous strips I used. I'm not sure what my previous ones were, but they were both from Gigi, but this particular material doesn't have as much stretch, which is why I think it removed the wax/hair better, and while I don't think waxing is particularly painful in general, I do notice that these are even less painful than the other strips I received.
Great, great, great. I used sugar wax, so all I had to do was rinse the strips in warm water and they could be reused. Amazing buy, definitely worth the money.
When I bought it, there was no mention of the size anywhere, so I had to rely on the photo. Anyone in need of a certain size - 75"x4. 5"br>br>Because of the packaging, I deducted one star. The seller sent such a small item in a large box. Extremely harmful to the environment. I wanted to deduct 1/2 a star, but I couldn't do so. br>br>Recent changes: br>br> Although I would have preferred something in the middle of this and the large size to be able to use it on the face as well as slightly larger areas, it worked fine on facial hair and armpits. For the sake of functionality, I re-added one star. 5/5.
I was just finishing up a review for the Gigi All Purpose Honee Wax when I realized I purchased the Gigi Cloth Epilating Roll in June of this year. I still have a large roll of toilet paper! I first used it with the Sally Hansen All-In-One Makeup Remover. When I was finished with the SH one, I applied Over Body Wax and Gigi All Purpose Honee. Both have a good grip on the cloth roll. Because I only wax in small areas, I'll probably keep this roll for another few years. The roll has a nice texture, and while I like the SH kit, those strips are completely smooth and thicker. These are more comfortable to wear, and I believe they follow curves better (for example, underarms).
I'd spent all of my money. I decided to go with a different brand because it was less expensive. That was, unfortunately, the worst decision I've ever made. The process of hair removal had become excruciating. After using the GiGi brand for a second time, I realized that the kit was not designed for me. matched. If you own a Gigi wax kit, I strongly recommend this product. It makes waxing a lot less painful!.
