No, DE blades aren't compatible with this. It necessitates the use of artist club blades with long feathers.
The handle is made of black plastic, and the blade is made of shiny plastic, with two pieces on one side of the blade. The two-piece part separates into two parts when you push it away from the handle with your thumb. Two nubs on the part of the razor blade that is still attached to the handle correspond to notches in the razor blades. Insert the blade into the nubs. Notches should be cut into nubs, and the blade's edge should extend past the metal part of the blade. Take the free piece, match it to the larger part, and use the metal spring to press the two pieces together and slide them toward the handle until they mate/remate. It is unsuitable for use as a disinfectant for barbicides. It's something I use on a daily basis, and it's only been two months since it broke. Electrolysis corroded the spring, and it no longer holds a razor. It's not meant for barbers, but if you're the only one who uses it, it might be fine; I like the balance.

Despite liking the solid handle design, I've only used this razor once a week for the past four months. So far, I've only used it a total of 16 times. It was fantastic until it wasn't! I've used straight razors with professional blades that were 10 times better than the ones that came with this razor, and one of the pins that holds the clip mechanism together apparently fell out, causing the latch to fall apart. Razor burn is a problem with these razors, and they aren't as sharp.
My second Facón razor, The Warrior, was my first. It's a scaled razor with half blades. Loved it. I had the urge to try a kamisori-style razor, so I purchased this one. I'm completely smitten! It's the shaver I'll be using on a daily basis now! I used vintage straights in addition to the other Facón, but this kamisori style one is totally rad; the straight handle provides incredible dexterity and is, in my opinion, easier to hold than a scaled straight. The included blades are razor-sharp and gave me one of the closest shaves I've ever had in just two passes. No nicks. You aren't being patient, paying attention, or rushing too much if you cut yourself with this. Strokes must be very gentle, and the angle must be shallow. This is without a doubt one of the best $9 products on the market. I've spent 95 years of my life buying things.
Vslue is incredible. When buying that razor, the first that I bought, I found that it didn't really appeal to me because the blade exposed it extremely hard, as you're unable to take all the moisture out of your face, you'll certainly miss the whiskers that you usually gain from.
This is one of the best razors I've ever used. The contour handle provides excellent control in her hands and allows her to easily reach those hard-to-reach areas. I received my razor in good condition and there are no loose pins, unlike some other reviews. The construction is solid and the product is extremely well-made. It's a little tricky to line up the blade in the razor and squeeze the razor plates back together once you've done that. It's that simplebr>a very nice weight balanced well, and gives a very nice shave; for the price point, it's worth the money, and great for those learning to wet shave; this one will be added to my straight razor collection as a must have.
Feather AC blades are incompatible with this handle. Feather AC blades are suggested as "frequently purchased with" in reviews, but Feather AC blades are too long for this handle. Despite my dissatisfaction and an insufficient supply of Feather ACs, this razor is a good buy.

It's a razor with a razor blade that's extremely sharp, so it's not for the faint of heart.
