What is the difference between this and the Gillette Mach3?

In the Custom Plus 3, the razor cartridges are replaceable, while those in the Mach 3 are disposable. Also, the Mach 3 says the blades are stronger, which means they last for more shaves before they have to be replaced. Having never used the Mach 3, I have no experience with it. The Custom Plus 3 is used by my husband only once to shave his beard. I usually use it three to four times to shave my legs.

There are some people who believe that four blades or five blades would be It is far better to have 3 than 2. My opinion is that it leaves a much smoother shave and is much easier on your skin.

I tried a Schick 2 blade and it cut close and without discomfort. There was some pulling and scraping, the stubble left and my skin dried up. I'm so glad Gillette exists.
