Hello there, this is a strong brick. The curing process causes it to solidify. Temperature storage or pressure are the causes of cracks and fragments.

I purchased it because it appeared to be a solid block of alum in a plastic case. I was hoping for a sturdy plastic case that I could reuse. Use with an Osma block that isn't equipped with a case. Unfortunately, the plastic case is brittle and broke on day 2 (it cracked and a chunk fell out). When you squeeze the case a little, the latch will pop open. The plastic, however, isn't rubbery enough for the design (as a plastic bar soap case is), so it fails.
The Nick Brick is fantastic; it's large and easy to hold in one's hand without dropping it, and it completely eliminates leaks! br>It brings a smile to your face!.
I bought this block because it was thicker than the last one I bought. It's comfortable in my hand, and when I'm done shaving, I wet the brick and rub it across my face. It makes me happy.
After years of using another, I decided to give this one a shot. This one appeals to me because of its substantial size, which makes it less likely to slip from your grasp.
I don't need it very often, but when I do, this is my go-to Alum to stop the bleeding. This is something that should be in everyone's bathroom. br>.
I'm not sure if this brick is made of solid alum or compressed alum pieces. My brick arrived with a break and a few minor cracks, so I'm going to say compressed. Because of this, it isn't the most gentle on the skin, but it does the job. There isn't much I can say.
It's just a block of salt; there's nothing else to say about it because it's so simple to use.
